A woman was found dead in the parking lot of a liquor store, leading to charges against her boyfriend, Texas authorities say. The 35-year-old mother of three was discovered shot in the head and neck in the passenger seat of a car Monday, Aug. 14, according to the Houston Police Department. Earlier in the day, the woman’s boyfriend called family members and said he had k*lled his girlfriend, Assistant Police Chief Chandra Hatcher said in a news briefing. When officers went to the woman’s apartment to check on her, they found no signs of foul play. Police said Tuesday that Washington was arrested and charged with murder.

On July 16, Imani Roberson took her four children to her
mother's home for dinner, according to her mother. She reportedly left there around 5:30 p.m. to go home with two of her children (two decided to stay with
their grandmother). Her mother, Clarine Andujar-White, became concerned when she did not hear from her daughter. She said during today's press conference
that Roberson loves her children very much, and it was very out of character for her to not check on the two children left with grandma. On July 17, she went to Roberson's home but no one was there. That's when she decided to file a missing person report. The sheriff's office said during the press conference
that they began working the case immediately and have been devoted to trying to find Roberson. Roberson's car, which had been burned, was found on July 27 in a wooded area off Camp Creek Parkway near Union Road in Atlanta. Roberson's
father shared images of the vehicle with FOX 5 Atlanta along with Ring camera video from a home across the street from Roberson's office that shows the vehicle pulling out of the driveway at a high rate of speed on the day she went missing. All of Roberson's children are safe, but the sheriff would not discuss their location or answer any questions about Roberson's husband. The sheriff says they are currently working with the South Fulton Police Department, FBI,

August 02, 2023 Dr. Gwendolyn Riddick - 40 Year Old UNC Doctor K*lled By The Father Of Her Child & During A Custody Exchange At The Park In Board Daylight
Dr. Gwendolyn Lavonne Riddick, who worked as an OB/GYN, was found shot multiple times next to her Ford Mustang. The 40-year-old was rushed to UNC Health Rockingham hospital, where she died Sunday, July 30, according to her former employer and the Eden Police Department. Police said the suspect, 35-year-old John Michael Powell, attempted to drive away from the scene but was taken into custody. He is charged with first-degree murder and discharging a weapon into occupied property. Powell was not given bond and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 8. Investigators determined the fatal shooting was an isolated incident between Riddick and Powell, who share a child. They said Sunday’s incident was the latest in a string of domestic issues between the two.

Alimamy Fornah is believed to have stabbed Shontae Crawford
in their shared apartment during an argument just before 5 a.m., on the 3400 block of Washington Boulevard, Arlington County police said. Responding officers found Crawford in the hallway with critical injuries, and immediately attempted lifesaving measures, authorities said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Fornah was found in the building and taken into custody without incident. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries considered non-life threatening. This is the second homicide in Arlington County in 2023. of June 3, Kanu's dreams of helping animals came to a tragic end when,
according to police, her body was found lying in the middle of Providence Drive
in Southfield. She was taken to nearby Ascension Providence Hospital in
Southfield, where she stayed on life support for two days, her mother said. She
was pronounced dead on June 5, but put back on life support until June 8, when
the hospital held a walk of life for Kanu because she was an organ donor. Authorities
say they do not know how Kanu ended up in the roadway, but they are treating
the investigation as a homicide. The driver of the vehicle Kanu was in before
being found is cooperating, said Sgt. Jared Womble, a spokesperson for the

June 18, 2023 Keerstin Cooper - Man Allegedly K*lls Texas Woman He Used To Talk To After Girlfriend Tells Him To ‘Smoke’ Her
A Dallas, Texas man was arrested this week after his
girlfriend allegedly told him to "smoke" a girl he used to "talk
to," according to reports. FOX 4 in Dallas reported that officers with the
Dallas Police Department responded to a shooting on South Malcolm X Boulevard
at about 1 a.m. on May 20. Investigators learned Keerstin Cooper was shot after
getting into an argument with Breaira Martin, who became upset because Cooper
used to "talk to" her boyfriend Gabriel Leuyas. Martin, police said,
called Leuyas over during the fight and reportedly told him to
"smoke" Cooper. Leuyas then grabbed a semi-automatic handgun tucked
in his waistband and shot Cooper two times through the windshield. After Cooper
was shot, another woman quickly entered the vehicle and drove her to the
hospital, where Cooper later died, police said. Police also said surveillance
video captured in the area shows the incident, and with the use of gang
records, social media and body cam footage, detectives were able to identify
the suspects as Leuyas and Martin. Both suspects were charged with murder,
while Leuyas also faces a single charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon. Martin
