Norway is still confiscating children from Christian homes and the problem is getting worse.  One homeschooling family lost their son to the Social Services again last week.  But, secularization in Norway, England, and America is working to eliminate Christians from the public schools as well. The secularists are weeding out Christian teachers who speak against the politically-correct sins of the day on their own time.  We take a look at how the Apostle Paul instructs Christians who must interact with the wicked in the world.  

Unprecedented debt.  Unprecedented levels of government spending. Trump's big budget deal  increases government spending AND debt more than the last two years of Obama budgets. So. . . who is the conservative here?  When the tale is told of the breakdown of the American economy, the greatest deficit - Keynesian spenders will have been Reagan, George W. Bush, and Trump.  But, that isn't the greatest tragedy of the big budget plan passed by Congress - the greatest loss is the babies.  Where's the defunding of Planned Parenthood?

In the wake of another school shooting, the media continues its endless search for motive.   More importantly, what is the heart of it?  And what is the basic worldview of the modern rash of serial killing in America?  We analyze Eric Harris’s diary, David Berkowitz’s testimony, and Jeffrey Dahmer’s interview with Stone Philips on Dateline.  Sadly, we come back to Charles Darwin and Friedrich Nietzsche as the major influence on American killers. 

Josh Harris’s book, I Kissed Dating Goodbye, sold 1,000,000 copies, and he’s regretting the book. We come back to the question of risk and fear.  How do parents wisely assess risks, and fear God above all things?  Instead of going  with formulaic approaches to things like courtship and dating, we suggest rather a return to biblical principle, and living the life of faith as we cross the wild waves of the Christian life.

Why do men want to rearrange their bodies?   Is it appropriate for us to take a duck’s legs and sew them on to a beagle. . . “just for fun?”  Or, what if a human tries to turn himself into a leopard, by tattooing stripes on his body, and making ugly cuts on his face?  Or, what if a man wants to turn himself into a woman by 100 surgeries? Or, what if a man wants to grind his hand up into a blender. . . “just for the fun of it”?  The modern mind has corrupted big time on the treatment of the body, and it’s pretty much mainstream. Why do homosexuals and transgenders hate their bodies so much? We take a look at Nancy Pearcey’s new book Love Thy Body on this edition of the program.

The schools seem to be studying hard about how to thoroughly mess up a child’s mind. New reading programs for six year olds present Tilly the Transgendered Teddy and Mr. Blue Crayon in the Red Wrapper. The abnormal and dysfunctional is bound and determined to destroy the rest of society. Does this call for Christians to increasingly separate from these systems? Parents must think deliberately about who will disciple their children. We also take a look at Central Oklahoma University’s decision whether to invite Ken Ham or a Drag Queen to present to the students. They were looking for something highly intelligent and non-controversial.

A PCA elder from Houston is running for Governor of Texas, and he says he is 100% in support Roe V. Wade.  We also look at the record of the Methodist church, beginning with a Methodist pastor who conducted the Sand Creek massacre in Colorado, possibly the worst Native American massacre of women and children in history.  Then, we take a look at how the Methodists in the Rocky Mountain region are treating abortion (the killing of children) in our day.  As the hypocrisies are made manifest, will they repent?

Glee was the most sexually-perverted program for young people on television.  So, a homeschooled young man who stars in the television program falls into perversion himself.  He is arrested for it, and he commits suicide.  This is the pattern for Christian kids who get entangled up into the world, and the end is worse than the beginning for them (according to the Apostle Peter). How do we know that children raised in Christian homes are more and more loving the world, and pulling away from the faith?

Parents need to be aware of the sad cases of abuse related to gymnastics and sports in general. How did this Larry Nassar "get away" with twenty years of abuse 265+ little girls? Here is systemic failure at multiple levels. A Christian woman broke the case open and we commend her for it. But, what can parents do to avoid this nightmare? We mention multiple risk factors related to gymnastics, immodesty, doctor visits, open showers in gymnasiums, etc. etc. Parents, let's mitigate the risks, for the love of our children!

Moody Bible Institute is in crisis now.  The story is pretty familiar for most if not all Christian colleges.  It’s the same old battle over biblical authority, inerrancy, and creationism.  The conservative theology professor is on ice, and the liberals gain ascendance.  Should you send your children to Christian colleges that give way to neo-orthodoxy and the typical slides into apostasy?
