He has a Ph.D. in applied cognitive science and believes that mental and psychological health are key to keeping ones self young, beautiful, and healthy. 

He teaches other people who show interest in getting lean, low-fat, muscular, mobile and flexible through Athletic Yoga.

Maxim also enjoys preparing a wide variety of culinary creations that are not just healthy but amazingly full of taste and yes, even sweet! Many of his dishes/cakes contain zero flour, butter, gluten, or even added sugars. To add to that they can even contain lots of protein and fiber.

Episode 28: David Signer

On today's episode, I am joined by David Signer, a Portuguese-Swiss national who came to Russia with hopes of delivering high-quality tennis lessons to the most interested tennis enthusiasts. The reality quickly became anything but a positive experience. David tells all in this candid conversation between friends and former colleagues.

In today's episode, I had the great pleasure to chat with Alex and Geoff, from Rhode Island and San Francisco, respectively. We had a blast getting to know each other and listening to these guys' stories of how they ended up in Berlin, Germany. 

Seriously, these guys were awesome. We got to know Alex and Geoff through their stories, their experiences, and their tips; some of which they learned the hard way.

Highlights:

Alex got a call late at night from a friend who was living in Berlin. She just left the club at 5am - not many clubs in America are open that late!

Geoff learned the hard way that Vienna is a bit expensive and jobs are scarce for foreigners.

Alex lived in the kitchen above the cupboards.

Both basically moved abroad with no job prospects in mind.

Alex met his girlfriend the first night in Berlin.

Geoff explains that for him, Berlin was a better choice for him - a guy in the tv/movie industry.

Episode 25: Joe Bautista talks about family life, his parents almost going broke,  military life, free college, working at the Pentagon, becoming a registered investment advisor and now helping other Latinos learn the tips and tools to successfully handling their finances and taking control of their future.

In our talk, Joe describes his experience growing up in Oregon in a middle-income family. Both parents worked extremely hard for the life they wanted in America. 

Joe went off and joined the Marines and over the years, his G.I. Bill offered him the opportunity to graduate with not one but two degrees. 

On his journey, Joe found a nice paying, comfortable job working at the Pentagon...but, that just wasn't him. Beauracracy, routine, following rules, orders, and a regime he was all too familiar within the military, Joe wanted more!

He saw his fellow Latino community struggling with finances and building wealth for years to come. He found is calling!

Joe decided to dedicate his time and his life to applying the skills he had gained along with a long desire to fluently speak Spanish, he set off for Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and as of this moment, he now resides in Medellín, Colombia - the land of "Eternal Spring". Did you know that Medellín is almost 5000 feet above sea-level...yeah, neither did I. I guess that allows for the 'eternal spring'!

Joe explains to us why he left, what he's been up to and what his future goals are.

Welcome to Episode 24!

Today we have a super great couple, Jay and Michelle both from Long Island, New York who have, for the past 10+ years traveled, visited, worked, and lived in multiple countries including New Zealand, Australia, Korea, China, Malaysia, Cambodia, Nepal, and Thailand. 

Jay, originally from New York City, has traveled and lived between NY and California, learning and training in several martial art styles before jetting off to Australia where he met Michelle, who also happens to be from New York. These two met and quickly became inseparable. Jay and Michelle got married and for the last 10 years they have been doing exactly what best friends do - Enjoying their travels and their life together.

A little bit about Michelle. A dual-citizen of America and Australia was born and grew up on Long Island in New York. After finishing up high school, she wanted to reconnect with relatives in Australia and decided to attend university in Australia. 

These two jet-setters are currently located in Ho Chi Minh, aka Saigon and they both are ESL teachers. In addition to teaching, they have a growing YouTube channel that helps people learn about these wonderful places, their interesting opportunities to live and work and they also offer consultation services designed to advise and educate their clients on the best way to relocate to "greener pastures".

On today's episode, we had a chance to chat with these two about:

-Why they left America

-Where they've lived (what drew them there and why they left)
