The ANC in Gauteng has resolved that Health MEC Bandile Masuku and his wife Johannesburg MMC Loyiso Masuku must take a leave of absence. They, along with presidential spokesperson Khusela Diko are also to appear before the party's Integrity Committee.

This follows the R125 million personal protective equipment tender awarded to King Madzikane II Diko's Royal Bacha projects.

INTERVIEW: President Cyril Ramaphosa’s spokesperson, Khusela Diko has taken leave of absence following allegations of her husband’s involvement in an alleged PPE tender scandal.
This comes after reports in the Sunday Independent that Diko’s husband, Amabhaca King Madzikane Thandisizwe Diko The Second, had been awarded tenders to the tune of R125 million by the Gauteng Department of Health to supply personal protective equipment.
The contracts are among 90 Gauteng government tenders being investigated by a nine-institution unit headed by the Special Investigating Unit.

INTERVIEW: A Christian school has barred a grade 2 pupil from attending classes for wearing isiphandla (a cultural bracelet made from animal skin).
The nine-year-old pupil at a private Christian school in Johannesburg, was prevented from entering the school on Thursday and was sent home.

It comes after Moropa, who plays the role of Pabi on the telenovela, detailed sexual harassment allegations by a senior male colleague.
The young actress detailed some of the sexual acts that the cast member performed which were in front of the other cast and crew members.
