Before going to the March For Our Lives rally, I met up with Cameron Waller, a 19 years old left leaning independent and student at Texas A&M. The biggest University in Texas.

Cameron is a volunteer in March For Our Lives. She is going to the the rally with her school friend Jacob, an 18 year old right leaning independent, from north west Texas. Jacob, just tagging along, wanted to check out the rally for the experience.

We talked about Cameron's volunteer work in MFOL and how those activities resonate in her family. And we all talked about guns and gun culture in the state of Texas, a state where gun culture is strong.

Radio Utblick talks to Matt Deitsch, one of the founding members of the March For Our Lives Movement. March For Our Lives is a nation wide movement of mostly very young people fighting against gun violence.

MFOL Started in Parkland Florida, in the wake of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

On Election Day, I went down to the local polling place in north east D.C, to talk to the voters, at a school building, where people were casting their vote, very similar to what you would expect in Sweden. Except everything else is different.

Radio Utblick’s Gustav Nyqvist is in the United States of America for the 2018 Midterm Elections, looking at underlying stories around the country. Focusing on new political movements going on in the U.S. Their impact on the elections and how they will affect the political arena going forward.

New political movements, Migration and Failing mainstream parties - all of this has come together over a long period of time and are now the foremost challenges in Europe.

Euroscepticism is at an all time high and puts Europe at a crossroad. There is off course Brexit and what is to come. Actors on both sides are sitting on their hands. Waiting for the end result.
