Wytze & Ageeth Valkema provided Live worship and Karen Sand led the hour with a detailed report-back on the Gothenburg Summit. Others who contributed were her husband, Haavard, Sofia from Norway, Marie from Sweden, Wytze and Susan Rowe who had attended with Fred. There was an interesting connection with the Czech people because of the Moravian influence in the Scandinavian counties.

With the start of the month of Nissan and the end of Ramadan, there was an emphasis on prayer, praise and worship during this Africa Watch hour. With the influence of Islam in many African countries we prayed for many Moslem people to experience the love and saving grace of Yeshua at this time. The two worship songs were “In Christ Alone” and “The battle belongs to the Lord”.There were lots of opportunities to pray into Africa’s needs and to give thanks for answers to prayer!

Derrick presented a powerful reminder for our need as Watchmen to be on the Watchtower, seeing what God is doing and not allowing ourselves to be distracted and bogged down with what is going on around us.

Special guest Barbara Ingmire, who has been serving in leadership for the National day of prayer task force since 2012. Her focus was the the upcoming 75th USA National Day of Prayer on May 7, 2026. The theme is "Glorify God Among the Nations Seeking Him In All Generations" I Chron 16:24.Various scriptures were shared and there was a time of prayer, ending with communion.

Jessica showed on the maps the different routes in and out of China. This week she concentrated on the Isaiah 42 Spice Road. She showed a very detailed and well produced documentary on all aspects of the types of Spices and their importance for the Western World.

Jessica asked for prayer for three areas 1) For revival & an emphasis on the directions back to Jerusalem ; 2) her proposed trip into Cambodia for an anti-human trafficking conference from 3-4th April ; 3) the annual School Revival Camp (+300 students from 6-8th April).

This Journey Discipleship session focused on discernment, spiritual attentiveness, and the biblical model of the sons of Issachar, exploring how believers can understand the times and respond with wisdom, clarity, and obedience to the Lord. The teaching also reflected on urgency, peace, observation, discernment, and faithful alignment, concluding with a prophetic reframing of “brace for impact,” highlighting readiness, maturity, and the importance of seeking God with pure motives. In her message, Shirley Momberg encouraged the group to engage in deeper reflection on waiting, obedience, humility, and corporate discernment.
