May 10, 2021 2. Bedtime Stories — A 911 Call From a Girl in a Trance and the Sound of Someone Dying Behind Her
Faux true crime fiction podcast The Gloom surfaces its first piece of suppressed evidence — a 911 call that was never entered into the official record.
Alicia Higgins was one of the four teenagers at Filmore on the night of November 16th. Her 911 call was placed at 2:04am. She speaks in a voice that is eerily calm, almost like a trance, while behind her something — or someone — is in agony. The call lasts eleven minutes. Samantha has been given a copy by a source who will not identify themselves. The police maintain the call does not exist.
Written by Michael Ryan Assip and Peter Lancucki. Directed by Frank Merle. Executive produced by Cassie Jozefov. A Violet Hour Media production.

May 10, 2021 1. In Medias Res — Tobin Bell (Saw) Stars in a Faux True Crime Podcast About Four Missing Children
Faux true crime fiction podcast The Gloom begins here — starring Tobin Bell (Jigsaw, Saw franchise) as Dr. Lasher.
A police interrogation tape from November 16th, 1993. Detective Filardo is questioning Dr. Darlene Harrington, a 38-year-old child psychiatrist working for the City of New York. He wants to know where the kids are. She says she does not know. And then something interrupts the interview — a sound on the tape that has no explanation — and Dr. Harrington starts screaming that it has found her.
Podcast host Samantha Williams has been given access to the tape. This is the opening episode of her eight-part investigation into the Night of the Filmore Four — the night four teenagers disappeared from a Queens psychiatric facility and nobody has told the truth about since.
