The GLORIO Chat Anime Podcast

Smoking cats aside, the number of shows we’re watching this season is starting to dwindle. Is it time to hit the backlog?

We talk about more new shows, go in-depth on Shin Kamen Rider, and Iro resists a possible career as an isekai light novel writer.

It's our 11th anniversary and we get a little nostalgic, daring to ask if anime is better or worse than it was in 2013. This might not be the best anime season to ask that question, but hey, we did find some things to watch!

We share our final thoughts on the Spring 2023 season, a solid group of shows that managed to survive some bumpy endings. Yes, that includes Birdie Wing and Gundam.

We do our best to preview the Summer 2023 season, but still end up talking about Birdie Wing and Gundam.

Aqua has dared to question the unassailable Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story, and we wonder if our favorite shows this season will cross the finish line without falling apart.

As we approach the final stretch of the season, I still can't decide if Oshi no Ko is good. But hey, plenty of other good shows as we get into Birdie Wing, Heavenly Delusion (Tengoku Daimakyo), and we talk about one episode of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury for almost as long as the episode itself.

We discuss Oshi no Ko possibly not living up to its explosive start, our disappointment with Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage, and everyone’s favorite show about star crossed lesbians being manipulated by their parents and powerful corporations… and maybe even some Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury!

Yes, we know there are other anime airing this season besides Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story, so we spend some time talking about other new shows… but we also talk about Birdie Wing.

We wrap up whatever shows from Winter 2023 survived to the end, but nothing else matters because BIRDIE WING IS BACK and that’s all I want to talk about.
