The GLORIO Chat Anime Podcast

Gee has taken control of the ship in time for Spring 2023 season preview. Every Weekly Shounen Jump adaptation and isekai this season has been thrown overboard to make more time for Gundam and Birdie Wing speculation.

In addition to our usual anime coverage, we talk about several anime adjacent games we’ve been into lately. Please play Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society, now available on Playstation, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

#1 Aikatsu! fan Peter details their recent trip to Japan, Jel goes to the Kaguya-sama: Love is War movie, and the NieR:Automata anime is back.

As we grind into the midpoint of the season, we talk about our regularly scheduled shows and… sports?

We add a few more Winter 2023 shows, say some parting words for NieR:Automata ver. 1.1a as it goes on hiatus, and dive back into our complicated feelings toward Trigun Stampede.

In this supersized episode, we tie up some loose ends from last season including the wild finale to Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, then we tackle our apprehension toward the new anime season.

Our Top 10 list, now in podcast form.

In our final episode of 2022, we make our final predictions for currently airing shows and even fit in a few previews for next season.

First, you save money by growing your own tomatoes at home. Then, you get a loan from your corporate space czar dad. And just like that, you are now a teenage CEO!… In addition to our usual seasonal anime, Peter joins the chat to share their experience at Scotland Loves Animation 2022 and some thoughts on I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss.

We chat about hot “new” video game releases Tactics Ogre Reborn and Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, and share our thoughts about the excellent Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
