It’s a myth that the masculine leads first.

It is the feminine.

She sets the example for how she craves to be adored, loved, and cherished.

Then the masculine follows suit.

Like romantic connections, the association we have with our desires are a relationship that desires to be nourished.

By acquainting ourselves with the sensations, and sensuality, of having our desires in the 3D reality, the universe can fill in the rest.

I recently experimented with the concept of using physical sensation, and scent in particualar, to manifest a financial goal in a recent book launch.

We tend to think we have a block when our manifestations feel far away...

But it is a matter of realignment, and familiarizing our body’s experience with the desired outcome now.

The god of desire, and the goddess of soul, join together in partnership.

They face challenges that force Eros to be vulnerable, and Psyche to ascend from mortal to goddess.

There are a multitude of lessons we can learn from their journey, but today’s episode is focused on this:

The combination of desire, and soul, birthed pleasure. (In the story, their daughter Hedone, the goddess of joy and pleasure)

We often get too caught up in solely desire, and forget our spirit, in the pursuit of pleasure.

When chaos erupts, the feminine isn’t the ‘yes’ woman.

She isn’t meant to stay small.

She isn’t meant to bottle up her emotions, leaving her needs last.

She embodies her main character energy, an essence where she fills her cup first so she can bring her highest potential to the situations, relationships, and opportunities all around her.

“I’ve been through blood, sweat, and tears to get here.” You’ve heard of that phrase, right? Or maybe you have even used it yourself. For generations, the collective belief of hard work has been embodied as the path to success. We aren’t meant to do nothing on this Earth, and physical action will always be required, but with the collective belief has come another challenge; feeling unworthy of receiving unless you are at your maximum capacity. Until you are burnt out. Unable to physically give any more.

But when it comes to finally receiving what we want, how sustainable is it to reach the point of burn out over and over again in order to attain the next thing?

Episode 1: “Soft Girl Living,” And “Dark Feminine” are just two examples of the feminine energy trends circulating TikTok and Instagram. Women are hopping on the bandwagon left and right, but missing these key concepts of truly embodying their feminine energy. And it’s not what the podcast bros are preaching either.

When we think of femininity simply as soft, or seductive, and not a beautiful blend of both and everything in between, we miss the mark when it comes to embodying our true femininity.

The recent social media “trends” have been a wonderful stage for displaying the kind of external life that is possible, but true femininity comes down to this:

The feminine is not meant to make us comfortable. It is meant to expand us.

Whenever we keep ourselves small, or our first response is to shut down, can we truly call ourselves feminine?
