On March 1st, 1932, Charles Lindbergh Jr was settled into his bed in for the night, when someone used a ladder to climb to the 2nd story window and take the child from his family. The kidnapper left behind a note containing details of a ransom that would need to be paid in order for the child’s safe return to his family.
