Most Christians are taught to be humble, serve others, and stay grateful. But somewhere along the way humility got confused with playing small. And playing small is not holy.
In this episode of the Go Deeper Podcast, Steven and Amber ask the question most people are afraid to: is winning biblical?
The answer is yes. But not the way the world defines it.
Scripture does not call you to be passive. God is not against you winning. He is against you losing your soul to get there. The tension is not between faith and success. It is between winning for your ego and winning for your purpose.
Amber breaks down why chasing status and instant gratification will always leave you empty, and how their son Manny declared he was going to win a school award, stayed disciplined every single day for weeks, and made it happen. That is kingdom winning lived out in a seven year old.
Steven gets raw about the moment he broke down on camera driving to pick up his son from baseball camp, posted the video, and received a call from a well known name in business who told him he changed lives that day. Not because of his success. Because he showed up as a father.
God wants you to win. Just not at the cost of your soul.

Your dream is not too big. You are just in too small of a room.
In this episode of the Go Deeper Podcast, Steven and Amber get into what dreaming big actually requires, and it is not motivation. It is the willingness to walk into rooms that scare you, stay consistent when the breakthrough has not come yet, and get specific enough about what you want that God can actually deliver it.
Amber wrote out her dream life at 17 years old. Tall dark and handsome husband, her own real estate business, a beautiful home, a house by the lake. She did every single one. Vague dreams die. The ones written down with precision have a way of coming to life.
Steven flew down to meet Patrick Bet-David wearing a tank top, walked into an airplane hangar surrounded by security and people in suits, and won the job in five minutes by asking the right questions. Not because of his accolades. Because of who he was in the room.
They also get honest about proximity, why getting on an airplane to be around higher level people is sometimes non negotiable, and what an almost 80 year old woman told Amber about purpose and why she still walks nine miles a day. Because dreams do not just live in your mind. Your body has to be able to chase them too.
If you are sitting on a dream that feels far away, this episode is your reminder that you are probably closer than you think. Get specific. Get in the room. Keep going.

Nobody sees the 4am wake up calls. The eight hour drives through the night. The Craigslist ads written at midnight after already working two other jobs that day. They only see what you built.
In this episode of The Go Deeper Podcast, Steven and Amber pull back the curtain on what it actually took to build two thriving businesses over 20 years, and why there is no version of real success that skips the work.
Steven built a national brand in the gym equipment industry for years with zero dollars spent on advertising. No website. No social media strategy. Just handshakes, Craigslist ads, and a relentless consistency that most people were not willing to match.
Amber manages a real estate team, a marriage, kids, and two businesses without losing herself. Her secret is not a productivity hack. Every single morning before anyone else gets her attention, she gets up early to spend time with herself and the Lord. Twenty years of that discipline is what prepared her for everything she carries today.
They also get honest about why the people and businesses you see fall the fastest are usually the ones who skipped the foundation, and why buying your way out of a hard conversation in marriage only makes things worse.
If you are in a season where the grind feels invisible and the results feel far away, this episode is for you. Keep going. The reps you are putting in right now are building something that will last.

It takes a lot of work to not be you. So why do so many people spend their whole life doing exactly that?
In this episode of The Go Deeper Podcast, Steven and Amber get into what living as your authentic self actually looks like inside your business, your marriage, and the daily decisions most people never think twice about.
Steven shares how he shows up to every big meeting in a tank top, treats every client the same regardless of how much they spend, and has no password on his phone. That is not a strategy. That is just who he is.
Amber breaks down why people pleasing is one of the fastest ways to lose yourself, and why the moment you stop saying no to the wrong things you start losing the right ones.
They also get honest about outgrowing friendships, what happens when your business starts running your life, and why the version of you that stops performing and starts being is the one that wins.
If you are working on self discovery, building a business, or trying to live with more intention, this episode will challenge you to stop performing and start being yourself.

Most people tell themselves they would do the right thing. But what happens when nobody is watching, when building a business with integrity actually costs you the sale, or when the easy choice is sitting right in front of you?
That is where character is actually built.
In this episode of The Go Deeper Podcast, Amber and Steven get into what integrity in business, marriage, and parenting really looks like when it is tested, in the moments nobody ever sees.
Steven shares the story of Charlie, a retired fireman who paid in full upfront for his home gym before a single piece of equipment arrived, something he said he had never done for anyone in his life. That kind of trust is not sold. It is earned. He breaks down how running a business on honesty and integrity even when it costs him the sale has built a referral-based business that runs almost entirely on repeat clients. Amber unpacks why the seeds you are planting right now are quietly becoming the life you are going to have to live later.
They get into the hard stuff too. How your kids are not learning from what you say. They are learning from what you do. How the small compromises you think are harmless are the ones that unravel everything. And what it actually looks like to do the right thing when the easier choice would have been to just keep walking.
This is the kind of conversation that makes you stop and look at your own life differently.
If you are building a business, raising a family with values, or trying to close the gap between who you are and who you want to be, do not skip this one.

Most high achievers know how to push hard. What they struggle with is knowing when to stop and extend themselves the same grace they freely give to others.
In this episode, Steven and Amber Harvalias get honest about one of the most misunderstood concepts in personal growth and faith: grace.
As driven, type-A entrepreneurs who built a business and a family through relentless standards, giving grace, especially to themselves, has always been the hardest part. They open by defining what grace actually is, then do something most people won't. They admit it is not a strength of theirs.
The conversation tackles the real tension every high achiever and entrepreneur faces. High standards are a gift, but they can quietly become a prison when you cannot let yourself off the hook for being human.
Steven shares what it felt like pushing for perfection on a difficult job when the outcome was already out of his control. Amber talks about watching her husband grind through a brutal week and choosing, intentionally, to love him through it rather than add to the pressure.
They also flip it and address the other side, because too much grace is its own problem. When grace becomes an excuse to stay comfortable or let standards slide, it stops being a virtue and starts being a trap. They unpack how this plays out in Christian marriage, faith-based leadership, parenting, and building a business with integrity.
If you are ready to go deeper into what it means to live with purpose, lead with integrity, and show up fully for the people you love, this podcast episode will challenge you to ask honestly: are you being too hard on yourself, or are you hiding behind grace?

In this episode, Amber and Steven dive into the impact of negativity and why protecting your mindset is one of the most important things you can do in life and business.
They talk about how negativity is not always obvious, and how it can slowly enter your life through your thoughts, environment, relationships, habits, and daily decisions.
Amber shares how she made a conscious decision in her early twenties to completely change her environment, her habits, and her mindset in order to escape negativity. From changing where she lived to building daily routines rooted in faith, discipline, and self awareness, she explains how intentional change can completely shift your life.
Steven reflects on how environment and experiences shaped his mindset over time, and how being in the wrong environments can normalize bad decisions and negative thinking without you even realizing it. Together, they break down what a negative environment actually looks like, from gossip and toxic relationships to poor habits and lack of accountability.
They also discuss how negativity does not just stay in one area of your life. It carries over into your business, your relationships, and your results. You cannot live negatively in your personal life and expect to perform positively in your professional life.
This episode also highlights the power of positivity, energy, and belief. The way you think, speak, and show up determines what you attract. When you lead with positivity, take action, and surround yourself with the right people, you create momentum that separates you from everyone else.
They close by sharing practical ways to reset your mindset, from creating boundaries and changing your environment, to encouraging others, speaking life into people, and focusing on growth instead of distraction.
If you feel stuck, drained, or surrounded by negativity, this episode will challenge you to take control, protect your peace, and become intentional about the life you are creating.

In this episode, Amber and Steven break down what it really takes to build confidence in yourself and in the people around you. They explain why confidence is not something you are born with, but something that is earned through action, discipline, and keeping promises to yourself.
They share real stories from business, parenting, and life that show how confidence is built by doing hard things, putting in the reps, and stacking small wins over time. From early struggles in real estate and business to lessons learned through sports, leadership, and raising their kids, this conversation highlights how growth comes from pushing past fear and leaning into your strengths.
Amber explains why confidence grows when you focus on what you are good at and continue to build on it, while Steven emphasizes the importance of mental toughness and pushing past your limits. Together, they talk about how getting in the right rooms, surrounding yourself with the right people, and taking action even when you feel unprepared is what creates real belief in yourself.
They also dive into parenting and leadership, sharing how to instill confidence in others by leading by example, creating opportunities for growth, and allowing people to fail, learn, and improve. Confidence cannot be handed to someone, but it can be built through consistency, accountability, and support.
This episode is a reminder that confidence is created one day at a time. Win the day, stack your wins, and keep showing up. What once felt impossible will eventually become your new normal.

In this episode, Amber and Steven talk about what it really means to embrace the hard seasons of life and business. They open up about the years of struggle that most people never see, from working 80 plus hours a week across multiple jobs to building businesses with little to no money while reinvesting everything back in.
They break down why so many people quit too early and fail to understand that success often takes 5 to 10 years of consistency, sacrifice, and faith before it truly compounds. Amber shares how she sold zero homes her first year in real estate, while Steven reflects on the long road of building his gym and the lessons learned from being deep in the trenches.
This episode dives into the mindset required to push through when nothing seems to be working. You cannot dabble in success. You have to go all in, every single day, even when it feels like nothing is paying off. The growth, discipline, and confidence you build during those seasons become the foundation for everything that comes later.
They also talk about money, discipline, and reinvestment. Instead of chasing appearances or lifestyle upgrades, they emphasize the importance of putting money back into your business, paying off debt, and staying focused on long term growth rather than short term validation.
More importantly, this conversation highlights that the struggle is not something to avoid. It is something to embrace. The hard seasons shape your character, build your resilience, and create the story that makes your success meaningful.
If you are in a season that feels heavy, uncertain, or frustrating, this episode is a reminder that you are exactly where you need to be. Stay in it. Learn from it. Grow through it.

In this episode, Amber and Steven dive into the role competition plays in personal growth, business, and life. Both of them grew up in competitive environments through sports, coaching, and family influence, and they explain how those early experiences shaped their mindset and drive today.
They discuss why healthy competition pushes people to perform at a higher level, and how losing can sometimes teach more than winning. Amber shares how coaches and mentors believing in her created the confidence to keep working harder, while Steven reflects on how belief from others helped build his own self confidence.
The conversation also explores the shift from seeing people purely as competitors to learning how to collaborate. They explain why abundance thinking opens more doors than scarcity thinking, and how sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and building relationships ultimately creates more success for everyone.
Steven shares examples from the gym industry where he actively collaborates with other gym owners, even those considered competitors, because helping others succeed strengthens the entire industry. Amber talks about doing the same in real estate by pouring into other agents and sharing knowledge at scale through training, coaching, and content.
They also talk about why competition can trigger insecurity in some people, why bigger rooms force you to grow, and why surrounding yourself with people who challenge you will always elevate your standards.
This episode is about pushing yourself to higher levels, collaborating instead of competing from fear, and understanding that the right competition can bring out the best version of you.
