“Fasted cardio in the morning is what’s gonna get you shredded”

Maybe you’ve heard this before

“You need to have at least 2-3 meals in you before you hit the gym”

Maybe you’ve heard that before

Now we have this misconception that there is ONE best time to workout…

Maybe you can’t workout at night cause you have work

Maybe you got work early so you can’t hit the gym in the morning

The truth is

IT DOESN’T MATTER !

Go at a time where it’s sustainable for you.

If you can only do evenings, only evenings

Because if you burn 1000 calories in a workout in the morning it will be 1000 calories at night.

So pick a time and stay consistent with it!

The more sustainable the approach the more results we see long term

My last turn about 12.5 miles in I knew that it was done⁣
⁣
𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘸 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦, 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 ⁣

I knew that this former chubby kid had accomplished what he probably thought was impossible. ⁣
⁣
This goal that even my parents questioned if I should sign up was done ⁣
⁣
This goal that I had been training for months for but in some ways , I trained a lifetime for it was completed ⁣
⁣
After a flat tire on my bike on mile 22/56 , after knee cramp after knee cramp from starting the run to finishing. It was done. ⁣
⁣
Growing up a chubby kid, constantly falling behind on physical activities this was a big moment..
⁣
This race taught me 2 very valuable lessons ⁣
⁣

I GOT REJECTED BY THE NAVY

March 2020…I get off the phone with my recruiter after Learning there is a chance I can fly for the navy

As soon as I found out my dream of being a naval aviator was possible I began all the necessary things

Got a tutor for my written exam…check

Took my written exam and passed…check

Finished my degree with over a 3.0…check

Letters of recommendation…check

Written statement…check

Began taking flight lessons…check

Got Corrective eye surgery…check

Medically qualified…check

I was all in like never before

I wanted to be a naval pilot, this was my focus for the last year of my life

August 2021 roles around board results come out !

I’m so excited looking for my ship date, I’m just so happy I get to live this new experience become an officer in the navy

Then boom…

All those thoughts stopped once I saw my name under

“Not professionally recommended”

I soon realized that this dream of mine wasn’t going to become a reality right now

After over a year of work, eye surgery, money on flight lessons…no result…”fuck man”

I had a choice, I have a choice to sit around and WEEP about how I think I’m a great candidate and how I’m qualified, how I deserve this and that

But what the fuck is that gonna do? NOTHING

As soon as I saw that I didn’t get in…I said alright time to see where I went wrong

And go harder than I ever have in my fucking life

It’s moments like this where I don’t blame anyone because the reality is they are taking the best people for that position..

Who am I to question their process, there were probably some absolutely outstanding candidates for that class and whether I apply again or not, nothing will change that factor

But it’s time now to focus on getting my Private Pilots license, study harder, focus on growing my business.

I DIDN’T FAIL, I’m growing and getting better from this

One day I would love to fly for the military but that one day might not be for a while…

But if I just give up that one day is never going to come.

So STOP GIVING UP SO EASY AND FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU WANT IN THIS WORLD. With your fitness, relationships, wealth DON’T GIVE UP CAUSE I REFUSE.

I had my last client for the day at the gym I was exhausted ⁣

Not that I had anything against my clients I loved them, but I was burnt out. ⁣
⁣
knowing that I couldn’t give my clients later in the day that same energy I had when I first started my day, just didn’t sit well with me..⁣
