Would Jesus go to a bar to “call them to a changed and fruitful life, to die to self and live for him” or to hang out with them? We discuss.
“Don’t tell me you want to see me in heaven when you don’t much care for me on Earth.”

Our first full episode finally released. This has been a long time in the making. This is our introduction to who we are and what we are about. This is our chance to lay down the foundation for a lot of our future conversations. We hope you enjoy!
A podcast where STRONG OPINIONS are weakly held. We are just a couple of guys who discuss hot takes on Christianity, religion, faith, life, and much more. We are unfiltered and unhinged at times, but at others we dive deep into understanding how we as everyday believers are to respond to the things we encounter in our current world.

Jesus calls his followers to both The Great Commission (go and make disciples of all nations) and the Great Commandment (love God above all else and love your neighbor as yourself). All too often, Christians have followed one and not the other; or in practice one versus the other. What goes wrong when we don’t keep both central to our faith and why is it imperative to follow both?

Tim and Colton welcome their first guest to the show, buddy Andy, to discuss pacificism and self-defense. How Christians can honestly be convicted on one side or the other of the spectrum… or somewhere in the middle. We also talk cigars and how and why Colton doesn’t know who Muhammad Ali is.

We revisit the five reasons people are leaving the faith, with further reflections on the five reasons people are leaving. Did Jesus come to demolish religion and if yes, have too many of us made being a Jesus follower just another religion?
Apologies for the technical issues as we had a mic malfunction. We hope you can listen anyway.

Few, if any, truly believe Heaven is some ethereal place in the sky with whispy clouds and everyone dressed in white robes. More common is the belief that Hell is an eternal lake of fire and damnation. What does the Bible say about both and what do we believe about them and what lies ahead for us after this life?

The world today might seem like it's going to hell but in truth, we live in a time of unprecedented wealth, health and prosperity, not only in the United States but around the world. The paradox is in a world with less suffering it becomes harder to understand why a God would allow suffering to happen. We grapple with questions about why God allows suffering in the world and other issues.

It’s the 21st Century. We no longer live in a pre-digital, modern, Judeo-Christian society but a digital, post-modern, post-Judeo-Christian society. How has this and other factors led to a steady reduction in those identifying as Christian and a rise of “The Nones”? How do we know and argue following Jesus Christ is the only answer?
