"The Goat Dad" w/Chris James

In this episode Chris James discusses the benefits and disadvantages of being an old a$$ parent.  He sites several studies, in an effort to sound smart and help make the case that 'older is better' in the parenting game.

In this bonus interview episode, Chris James ((after having 1 too many bourbons)) discusses firearms with a friend, Brett Furr.  Brett has a long history with owning guns, and they discuss interesting elements of the process & responsibilty that goes with being a gun owner.  Chris James asks some very basic questions, as he has never owned one, but is definitely considering a firearm to protect his family from any and all harmful forces.  

On this episode, Chris James discusses his issues with dangerous dogs, and specifically sites alarming stats on pitbulls.  This subject hits home for him, he's already had some scary moments with dogs around his daughter.  Chris James doesn't hold back with his feelings about those who choose to keep dangerous animals in their home, and certainly doesn't want them anywhere near his children.  

In this episode of The Goat Dad, Chris James gets fired up about female pop stars and their irresponsible influence on our daughters. He takes special aim at Miley Cyrus, and busts out some terrible stats on how naive most parents can be on the subject.

In this episode Chris James discusses what the proper age is to give your kid a cell phone.  He lists several of the negative effects they have on our children on both the mental & physical level.  He also speaks on the amount of trust we should give other parents who might be the grown up in charge, and that we should consider several issues before letting our kids play together in unknown households.  

This is the Goat Dad's very first episode.  Chris James, the host, takes on the subject of schools reopening, citing the CDC's exact quotes and arguments to get the kids back to a classroom setting.  Chris also discusses the effects that keeping the schools closed are having on our children, and the absurd protests by teachers and their unions to stay locked down.
