For Episode 0 I go into the journey that led me to this point and the mindset shifts that helped me find success in training and coaching. I talk about my way of thinking as a kid and how It effected the way i saw the world and things around me. I go into my breakthrough into the trial world and how patience and channeling my desire into the correct things helped me improve my coaching and race performances. We also go into injury set backs and how I rebuilt myself into a new runner.
Today we sit down with Liam Mckenzie A Father, Partner, Coach and Merrell Sponsored Athlete. Liam had just recently come back from 2.5 stress fractures in the lower back. We go through his childhood and how he got to this point. And dive deep into a period of overtraining that lead to the fractures, and how ulitmately became the biggest lesson in balance. Liam talks about patience, appreciation, making the most of opportunities, showing up for yourself so you can show up for others, and how his definition of success has shifted.
