The Goddess Way of Living; Episode 10 - I am inviting ease and letting go of what's holding me back.

Today’s intention is I am inviting ease and letting go of what’s holding me back.  Taking out your journal, answer some or all of the following questions: What feels hard to you right now, what feels out of alignment or your inner tug of war?  What areas would you like to bring more ease to?  It can be any area of life; your health, work, family and relationships, money, etc. 

Think of some areas in your life you are feeling stuck in, write them down… What do you think is holding you back?

Then write down how you want to feel instead?  

Maybe you don’t know exactly how you can bring ease into those areas, and that’s ok.  Step one is knowing where you want your energy to change then deciding how you want it to feel instead.  

Once you know where you want to go, or in our case how you want to feel, how to get there, or how do I feel that way, will begin to flow naturally.  Practicing doing more of what feels good, brings you joy, and helps you feel in alignment. 

Today’s mediation is going to be a little different than the last 9 sessions. Allow yourself to go with it and release any judgment. We will be seated either in a chair or meditation pillow on the floor.  To begin we will have our palm on our knees or lap facing down, to be grounded. 

Take a deep breath in and out….


I am inviting ease and letting go of what’s holding me back. 

I take a moment to notice where I’m feeling out of alignment. I can feel myself in this limbo. 2 steps forward, one step back.  knowing where I want to go but not knowing how to get there.  Knowing how I want to feel, yet still holding on to limiting thoughts. 

Put your head down and take your hands to my belly. Facing each other, almost making a little ball or open basket.  

I take a moment to notice what's holding me back.  Negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, non- supportive relationships.  Maybe it’s habits, or just being stuck in an auto pilot. Visualize these feelings and emotions as any color, shape, scribble, blur or size. It’s hard to hold on to what it looks like, but you know exactly how it feels.  It’s holding you back and weighing you down. You’re squeezing your hands together holding this feel, shape color, emotions, squeezing so so so and.   You’re squeezing it and clenching your whole body in the process.  Squeeze, tighter tighter tighter. Until poof, I exhale, I release.I am letting go of what's holding me back and creating the space for ease. This feeling of stuckness or limbo was keeping me safe, comfortable, and surviving. I am thankful for it but it’s time to replace it with new ways to find those same feelings of: ease, comfort, peace and joy.  It is my time to thrive. It is my time to find and feel my inner alignment. My new inner alignment, I’m letting go of the past and creating my present and future.  Believing in myself and knowing the universe will guide me. I easily replace what’s been holding me back with gratitude each day.  I celebrate all the moments of my life. 
I settle back in and  put my hands back on my lap, palms up, inviting the positive feelings of health, love, peace, and joy.  I am stepping away from what’s holding my back and stepping into the next best version of me.  I can feel myself, happy, safe, secure, radiant, joyful, mindful and in alignment. I am open to receiving all the gifts the Universe has for me.  I am all open to finding the path of least resistance. All will come easily to me. 

Take your time coming back to the present moment. Feel yourself a little lighter, knowing that you have released what’s holding you back.  Bad habits will melt away.  New positive habits will replace them.  You’ll find your way with ease to all the feelings you desire.  You’re mindful.  You’re grateful.
