Episode 11

I am co-creating my present and my future. 

Hey everyone this is Cristin and this is episode 11. 

If you’re just tuning in, these first 21 weeks are the foundation to the Goddess Way. In my books and private group programs they are meant to be listened to each day for 21 days.  For the podcast I only have enough time to release weekly. So tune in each week to create time and space for you to reflect, dream and go.

This week's intention is I am co-creating my present and my future. 

Co-creating, it’s a buzz word in the self help / self care / spiritual communities.  But it is true, we are writing our stories.  There are many pieces out of our control but there are just as many that are in our control.  That’s the co-creating.  Focus on what you can control. You are the author and narrator of your story. 

Take out your journal to write your story.  It can be bullet points, cliff notes or a novel.  What’s your past, what have you overcome, what has been easy and what’s been hard?  Present you, what are you trying to work though now, how do you want to write the rest of your story from today on.. As if you were writing a book or fairytale with a wonderful ending, dream it &  write it all down. 

You can write it in the 1st person or 3rd, it doesn't matter.  Just allow yourself to reflect and dream.  Do not judge your dream.  It doesn

T matter if it sounds crazy, whacky, unobtainable. You don’t even have to believe in it right now- just allow yourself to create this magical story.  

A quick note- your story is allowed to change.  You might refer back to it from time to time, and you can rewrite it or revise it.  There are no rules here.  You are the writer, author, narrator of your own journey.  Be sure to fill it with peace, love and gratitude.

And now onto our meditation: 

I am co-creating my present and my future.

Take a deep breath in and out….

Take a moment to settle in, releasing any tension in your neck, your back, your shoulders, your wrists, ankles, fingers and toes. Relax your forehead, unclench your jaw and take a deep breath in… and out. 

Take a minute to visualize your younger self, radiate love to her and give her a hug.  Noticing your past, but releasing the grip of it.  Your past led you to where you are today, but you are not still exactly her.  You have grown, you’ve learned so many new things, been to so many places and have had many relationships. Give her the most loving hug.  Tell her that she will live her dream life, her dreams will come true.  There may be some rough spots, but you’ll get through.  While giving her the most loving and supportive hug, breathe in and out.  

As that visualization fads away… come to today.

Feel yourself getting that same hug, from the much older, wiser, perhaps grandma version of you.  Hugging you you can hear her say I love you, all is well and all will be well.  You are the writer of your own journey.  Write it, dream it and then believe in it.  

As the older version of you fades away, with her beautiful gray hair, wrinkles and smile of contentment, come back again to today. 

I am co-creating my story, my life, my journey. 

Choosing love, peace, and joy will guide me. 

I am practicing a higher vibe way of living. 

Being mindful. Compassionate. And patient

 

I am taking the steps onto the path that is best for me, meant for me.  All the positive pieces, attributes, my qualities and gifts will come easily. 

I am grateful to be alive each day. 

I am grateful for who I am. 

I am loving, kind and compassionate. 

I am co-creating. 

Breathe in and out.

Take time coming back to today… bringing your breathing back to its normal rhythm.
