Episode 22: I am allowing myself to dream
Hi everyone, this is Cristin and this is episode 22. A couple things I want to mention before jumping in, if you enjoy the music that accompanies my meditations, they are by my extremely talented husband Jacob Cole and can be found on any music streaming service. This episode feels very monumental for me. A big star along my own personal journey. I began The Goddess Way in 2015 with pen and paper, written as a 21 day guide for myself, with the dream that maybe someday it would be a book… fast forward to covid and having to stay home, I had the time to type it, lay it out beautifully in an ebook and offer it as group coaching on Facebook modified and revised as a weight loss program for women. Why it feels monumental, is, my programs always stopped at day 21, now with this podcast I get to continue on. I’m super excited about this and proud of myself. :) I’m sharing this story as noticing successes are some important to enjoy the journey.
All that being said, let’s jump into today’s intention: I am allowing myself to dream.
I may of mentioned this in an earlier episode…
Walt Disney, the most magical dreamer, had a process, he had 2 teams: the dreamers and the critics.. But those 2 teams didn’t brainstorm in the same room. The dreamers dreamed the dream, and then the critics came next, to see how it could be done. Were there holes in the plan that needed to be fixed? Apply this to yourself… don’t let your inner self come in and block your dreaming process. Allow yourself to dream, without knowing how you’ll get there.
Take out your journal and ssk yourself. Wouldn't it be amazing if??…….
Even though I might not know how to make it possible I would love my life to look like / be like…
If you’re feeling resistance and afraid to dream, or if you are at a place where you feel like you just need your basic needs met, dream that that is possible for you and even more. If you’re living paycheck to paycheck, dream of financial freedom, you have more than enough to live and even more to donate.
If you’re feeling stuck at work, dream of what you wish were possible for you.
Dream it all, so big, so expansive, it seems ridiculous.
Let go of that disbelief, you’re dreaming here. No judgment, no critics, no plan. Just dream.
Personally I dream of retiring my mom, continuing to give my daughter, husband and family a dream life. I dream of having a really fun rental property, I dream of an amazing book deal coming my way with minimal effort and the perfect publishing relationship. I dream of helping women like me, I dream of peace, joy, health and financial freedom.
Journal on this for a few, allowing yourself to dream and when you’re finished let's start our guided meditation.
Take a moment to settle in making any movements you need to release any tension being stored in your back, your neck, your arms and wrists, your hips , legs, ankles, fingers and toes.
Close your eyes, relax your forehead, unclench your jaw and take a deep breath in and out. If you are in a seated position, rest your arms on your legs with your palms facing up. If you laying down, have your arms on the floor, palms up. We want our palm up, open to receiving.
I am allowing myself to dream.
I am letting go of fear and disbelief.
I’m letting go of my inner critic at this time.
I am allowing myself to dream.
Breath and out.
See & feel yourself in a dream like state, feeling so lite, so happy, so carefree.
See yourself with your arms wide open, open to the universal energy of possibilities. Feel that energy positivity following your way. Allow it into your space, your body, spirit, heart and mind.
Feel yourself grounded and supported. Feel yourself feeling safe.
Breathe in love, breathe out love.
