I am taking action steps with ease
Hi everyone this is Cristin, this is week 9, episode 9. Like I’ve mentioned before, to get the most out of these 1st 21 episodes, listening in order is how they are meant to be. They help build a solid foundation to success, growth, transformation or whatever it is you’re working on.
This week’s intention is I am taking action steps with ease. Are you feeling stuck? Overwhelmed? Underwhelmed? Out of balance?
What are tiny action steps you can take today to feel better? How can you take better care of yourself today?
Maybe you’re feeling perfectly in balance, which is great! Write down what you’re doing that’s been helping, that way if you do veer off your course you can refer back to this time.
Remembering the last few weeks.. Let's go back to allowing ourselves to dream, what is it that you want? How do you want to feel? Write it all down and dream in detail.
What can you do today to get on track to your dreams or feel more of your core desired feelings?
A simple way I like to break down my goals is clustering them into 3 parts or categories. So rather than an extended to-do list, which there always is, right? Putting it into 3 areas that I am working on, helps me to simply, stay on track and celebrate successesMy areas are: Health, Wealth, Clean. My current goals I am focusing on are my health (physical and mental), my business growing, I’m putting under the category wealth and getting my house organized; the category Clean. Each of those areas can have a list a mile long that I want to do, or accomplish but that's when it can become or feel overwhelming. Breaking it down that I just do 1 thing for each area, each day, is a success. Now I’m sure there’s days where I am able to do way more than 1 thing, but the 1 thing is my goal. For example it can be, Health- I walked, Wealth, I sent an invoice, Clean- I put away laundry. If you want to write more, go for it. For me it's just an easy way to stay on track and to actual notice I am doing the things.. Taking action.
Now to today’s meditation:
I am taking action steps with ease
Breathe in… breathe out.
Take a deep breath in and out….
Take a moment to settle in, releasing any tension in your neck, your back, your shoulders, your wrists, ankles, fingers and toes. Relax your forehead, unclench your jaw and take a deep breath in… and out.
I am taking action steps with ease.
I am practicing simplifying my to-do list and noticing small actions or any action is enough. I am practicing letting go of overwhelm and noticing the small steps ahead, one step at a time.
I celebrate my successes.
Breathe in… breathe out.
I believe in myself. I am trusting that the universe is supporting me and my dreams. I am open to receiving what is meant for me.
Breathe in and out.
Take a moment to visualize yourself, simplifying your day, or week or even month into the 3 most important areas for you. It could be health, family, fun, work, etc. See yourself generalizing those areas and the paths opening up of what action steps to take. See yourself navigating through the week, with ease and joy. Noticing you are enough. What you are doing is enough. See yourself taking small action steps with ease and visualize how they add up over time. You accomplish what you need to, you are mindful and happy.
You take time in the present moment to what what needs to be done, rather than grinding or hustling away. You enjoy each step at a time.
Breathe in and out….
Take a moment to come back into today. Bring a sense of ease and mindfulness to the rest of your week. Let go of that overwhelming to-do list and just work on one thing at a time. Try out the way of grouping into 3 and let me know if you like it.
Don’t forget each night to celebrate your successes big and small. If you want to go deeper you can also write down a few things you are grateful for each day.
