Today's episode is not what I had planned on producing, but with everything going on, I had to get a few things off my chest.
First, my thoughts on the murder of George Floyd. Second, a renewed call to cancel the RNC in Charlotte. Third, a few thoughts about how everyone - including those who benefit from privilege - can contribute to breaking the systems of violence.
You could be listening to any other podcast in the world, but you're right here with me. And I appreciate that.
A few months before coronavirus turned the world upside down, I got connected with Ashley Langston, a fashion designer, entrepreneur and member of the US Army. She asked me to model for her line of men's neckwear, Eikeon. This line of bow ties and pocket squares was meant to represent men in her family who had passed away, so I was honored to be a part of the shoot.
You can check out the bow ties (and the photos) at iameikeon.com. Check out the website while you listen to Ashley talk about fashion, design, family and more in today's episode.
