The Gold Man

OBI WAN KENOBI Season 2 is reportedly in development. Season 1 of Obi-Wan Kenobi is currently airing, and there have been 3 chapters. Many assume that Star Wars Obi Wan Kenobi would only have around 6 episodes and would be one contained story. But recently reports suggest that with the recent success of the star wars shows especially Obi Wan Kenobi, there are considering a season 2! In this video I explain why this is an awful idea.

#Halo #TheHaloSeries #ParamountPlus

So what are my thoughts on the Halo Series so far. And btw, since Paramount Plus seems to be rather strict with copyright use I’m just going to play Halo in the background. A lot of hardcore Halo fans seem to be really pissed with this show for a number of reasons, but overall I’ve been really enjoying it. Now I don’t think it’s like A+ television or the best show I’ve seen within the past year, but as someone who’s played Halo my whole life pretty much I’m really loving this show. So in this video I kinda want to just go through my thoughts on this show and what I really do like and the things I don’t particularly like at all. First let’s talk about Master Chief because this seems to be the most controversial aspect of the show. Fans of Halo who feel greatly offended by the portrayal of Master Chief need to understand that the chief that we know in the games would not work here. Master Chief in the games basically has no personality traits or definition characteristics that would translate well to screen. I mean sure he loves making 1 liners, but throughout the original halo trilogy master chief is more of a vessel for the player than an actual character. Bungie themselves have said this. This is why Chief never has much dialogue, so the player feels like they are actually in the universe instead of playing as someone in the universe. But since we are looking at a show here, we need a more 3 dimensional character and I love what they are doing here. I feel Pablo Shrieber has done a fantastic job so far with making Chief feel like his own. This arc that chiefs going on right now with learning about who he was and the origins of the spartan program is one I find to be fascinating. As someone who loves Halo 4, watching the story of Master Chief find out more about his humanity is a story I am always in favor of. And based on the story paramount is trying to tell, it makes complete sense that Master Chief takes off his helmet as much as he does. I’ll be honest, I too was a bit thrown off seeing Master Chief's face for the first time, but realistically it makes perfect sense. I feel like the Halo fans that love just the games and know very little about the expanded lore are the ones that have the biggest problem with the series because if you do know the expanded lore, Chief takes off his helmet all the time. But even in the games, the spartans from Halo reach for the most part and a lot of the spartan 4s take off their armor all the time when they are at base or in any safe location. And besides “he keeps it on in the games” I have yet to hear a good reason why Chief should never take off his helmet. People say Halo could have gone the mandalorian route and kept his helmet on the whole time which could work, but again I’m looking for a reason why in the universe he needs to keep his helmet on and I have yet to hear one. And once I realized that I was able to enjoy the show much better. With the rest of the halo series right now there are so many ongoing plot threads that I guess I can just go down the line and give my thoughts on them. I would say probably the 2nd most important character behind the master chief is Halsey and I love this character. Halsey is a woman who is clearly intelligent but also has some very questionable morals. Granted I was already familiar with Halsey backstory from the games but the show does stick fairly close to it. She’s borderline evil and is manipulative and we don’t often see that enough on TV. I guess the premise of her character is the question: do the ends justify the means. Now a lot of people would say no they do not but when the means are saving the human race it may be hard to argue against her. I’m not saying I agree with her, but the question her character is posing is fascinating. When it comes to her storyline with the UNSC where she is getting scapegoated or whatever isn’t a story I find all that interesting.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness was SLOPPY, and I will review it. The newest movie in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) just released. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness is part of the MCU Phase 4 and is the 6th Marvel film we've seen Doctor Strange. The film features Doctor Strange, Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and America Chavez. I will be doing a movie review. This Marvel film goes deep into the multiverse, but is the newest MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) any good. Especially with Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) as the main villain? In movie review, I will discuss why Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness was SLOPPY.
