Prior to Covid, Self Storage was already a wildly successful business. Post Covid, you can imagine where it went. I have a little different take on my own personal experience with self storage I would like to share in this episode.

Yes, that's correct. Barbie and Oppenheimer both rule summer revenue at the box office. What other unlikely bimbo and egghead pairings might yield similar results? I have 7 suggestions.

Cars. Love 'em, hate 'em. But we're keeping them longer and that means more time for things to deteriorate. I have my own perspective on the automobile and its inhabitants I'll share with you in this episode.

What is "Hot-Desking anyway? With all the work from home and part-time office visits, Hot-Desking means that on the days you deign, opt or are ordered to come to the office, you have no assigned desk, in other words, desks are no longer your own. More directly, you don't own a desk at the office. You're now a desk jockey having to move from one desk to another each time you return to the office, sharing surfaces with others, often with different tastes and organizational interests. Personal space and effects, gone. Are you a visitor or valued contributor? Hear my observations detailed in today's episode.

Ever run into somebody of authority to you, like a boss or teacher, in a completely different environment? Like at the grocery store or movie theater? They're dressed differently, they appear out of place and you have no idea how to address them. Like your doctor, your professor or your clergy person. It was just that experience that prompted this episode.

Grown men reverting to dressing like boys. You've seen it and when I explain it, you're going to know exactly what I'm talking about. Don't think this is simply observation as yours truly will admit to dressing like a ManBoy a good portion of the time. Guess it takes one to know one.

A podcast. Really? I'm going to do a podcast? Well, the answer would be yes as you'll hear in the trailer. If you know me from my career as a columnist you'll know what to expect from the podcast. If I'm new to your listening interests, you'll know what to expect from what I share in the trailer or it may take another episode or two. Either way, you can count on a dose of quibbles and bits reality in a short amount of time. I'll be available in your ears every week with some Fun-Based Journalism.
