When one magazine publisher meets another!

Kathy Barron is the host and producer of the successful California-based podcast Women Who Sarcast, and she joins Sandy in the Confessional as our special guest to chat about her exciting new venture - the launch of Women Who Podcast Magazine!

With hints and tips, and fascinating stories, it's a great magazine that is shining a spotlight on women.

Sandy was so honoured to be the cover girl for the debut issue of the quarterly mag, Women who Podcast, and excited to chat about being a cover girl for the first time at 51! • #33 Natalie Walker | Supporting the families of Predators | Founder & CEO PartnerSpeak
Trigger warning: Online child sexual abuse, trauma

Please welcome change maker and advocate Natalie Walker.

When Natalie Walker was in her early twenties and not long married, it was revealed that her husband had been accessing images of child sexual abuse on his computer. When the internet was still in its pre-Google days, these horrendous crimes were so underground that they were not even fully understood by law enforcement agencies.

Natalie Walker is the founder and CEO of PartnerSpeak, a multi faceted organisation offering peer support and advocacy for traumatised non-offending partners and families of perpetrators of on-line child sexual abuse. Natalie’s lived experience saw her marriage end and she soon discovered there was no support to help her through this traumatic time. In 2012, Natalie founded PartnerSpeak when she discovered that many non-offending partners were often blamed, shunned and punished for the crimes of their partners. This also extended to their children.

In 2017 Natalie was announced as a recipient of the Churchill Fellowship for her work in exploring peer support as a trauma-informed response to the families of offenders. Natalie also sits on two national working groups as part of the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation.

Kristy Sumner is a Paranormal Investigator and the co-founder of Soul Sisters Paranormal, an all female Paranormal investigation team based in the USA, who have investigated some of the most haunted sites across America.

  • #28 Donna Stolzenberg | Victorian Australian of the Year 2021 | CEO/Founder - National Homeless Collective
Proud Indigenous woman Donna Stolzenberg is a CEO, keynote speaker and trainer. In 2014, she had the simple idea of handing out 50 donated sleeping bags to homeless people. That idea has evolved into a nationwide charity.

The National Homeless Collective (NHC) is a grassroots Australian organisation that helps people affected by homelessness, domestic violence and social disadvantage.

A mother of five boys and a grandmother of two, Donna has lived experience of overcoming homelessness and hardship. Under Donna’s direction, NHC has created six sub-charities targeting different issues – Period Project, School Project, Plate Up Project, Sleeping Bags for Homelessness, and Secret Women's Business. It also runs Kala Space, an op shop employing women affected by domestic abuse or homelessness.

Donna’s generosity and resourcefulness have provided practical solutions in Australia’s most recent crises. This includes helping women to safely escape homelessness, people affected by bushfires, or those locked down in the Melbourne towers during COVID-19.
