If you’re looking to get away from it all, while successfully finding purpose-driven work-life alignment, this episode is for you.
Today, I talked with Adam Tobey, who believes that while the wilderness is dynamic, ever-changing, and powerful, it’s also a place of stillness, rest, & education.
Adam holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts from Princeton Theological Seminary. He is also a certified wilderness First Responder, a leave-no-trace Master Educator, serves as the Utah State Advocate for Outdoor Ethics, and is an AMGA Certified single pitch Instructor.
With over a decade spent teaching and guiding people through the wilderness, Adam lives to introduce a love of the outdoors to people of all ages at goago.org.
Among others, today, he shared with us:
- What you really should do when you’re fearful of something,
- The timeless art of taking educated risks, and
- What real ownership looks like, as opposed to ‘taking control’.
