 There are a great many wonders in this world and Vortices (or Vortex) are absolutely one of them!  There are only four or five other places in the United States where you’ll find a Vortex and one of them happens to be right here where I live in the Mountains of Western North Carolina.  

So, today I have the pleasure and the honor to introduce you to Jenny Soulfire.  In her “past life” she was a teacher of science and is incredibly curious by nature, so when her true calling came to her in a series of “ah ha” moments, she moved here to Asheville to became a Vortex Hiking guide.  On her guides you may find the answers you seek, you may - at the very least find a sense of peace, but you will absolutely have an amazing conversation and leave with a better understanding of the world around us and the part you play.

 I’m always curious to learn new ways to make what I put in my body help make it thrive, so I turned to my friend (who I’ll call Aunt Hippie) to shine a light on some good herbs and spices to stock in the kitchen. 

One that caught my attention helps with brain function and focus so as soon as I sat down to edit I popped it into my diffuser. I’ll also grab a few dates because it turns out they’ve got something pretty awesome to offer, too!

Whenever I have a chance to create something  - whether it’s a painting, drawing, some kind decoupage or refurbishing furniture I’ve always found a sense peace and after the project is finished. And a huge sense of accomplishment like a weight has been lifted.
