In our last adventure titled "The Monster O' McDonaldLand Loch", Ronald and gang take us to Scotland to visit Sundae's cousin, and along the way meet money hungry artists, play the bagpipes, wear kilts, and find a friendly monster who is just misunderstood (and no I am not talking about Grimace). Which member of the gang cannot keep a secret? Have you seen the new adult Happy Meals? And why is Grimace the mom to 12 lambs? • 72. The Shining (ft. Charlie McPherson)

Wow! What a classic film to finish off Spooktober for the Downtown Spookboys! This week, we watched the the timeless classic by Stanley Kubrick, "The Shining", and are joined by Lukas' friend Charlie McPherson. Join us in the Overlook Hotel where a sinister presence influences a father into hysteria and violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from both the past and the future. This episode has everything, from announcing our Spooktober giveaway winner, lots of Tim Allen and "Star Wars" talk, and deep conversations trying to dissect every little aspect of this film. What did we receive in a package from a fan of the podcast? Did Stephen King like this movie adaptation of his novel? And what does Seth think is the worst part of being a celebrity? Tune in this week to find out all this and more, but only on "The Good, The Bad, & The Movies"!

  • 71. Birdemic 2: The Resurrection

The long awaited wait is here! We are officially doing "Birdemic 2: The Resurrection", the sequel of our top listened to movie episode, "Birdemic: Shock and Terror". This time with Seth joining us, we get to live through another 80 minutes of what is without a doubt, the objectively worst movie of all time on the surface level. Get ready for terrible clipart CGI birds, unmatched white noise audio, long driving scenes with green screens and hair falling into the camera, and a sporadic plot that spends less time on the birds than it does on Hollywood movies and new love. Why did the eagles and vultures attack again? Who is the OCSA and why do they have so much power in the film review world? And who the hell is JoJo Candles? Tune in this week to find out all this and more, but only on "The Good, The Bad, & The Movies"!

  • 70. Videodrome

Welcome to a realm world of horror films, the body horror genre. And who better than the master of body horror, David Cronenberg, to kick off our first ever body horror film on the podcast. But instead of doing his most famous film, "The Fly", we decided to tackle another popular, but a bit more obscured concept with "Videodrome". In this film, a programmer at a TV station that specializes in adult entertainment searches for the producers of a dangerous and bizarre broadcast that slowly transforms his life. Get ready for gore, distorted reality, lots of nudity, and the lead singer of Debbie Harry (the lead singer of the band Blondie). Who wrote the script for this episode? Which co-host has to buy a Subaru for the fans of the podcast? And why is Seth afraid to dress as Mel for Halloween? Tune in this week to find out all this and more, but only on "The Good, The Bad, & The Movies"!

  • 69. Spirited Away

We hope you like anime and crazy story that are almost too difficult to talk about, because this week for Spooktober, we watched "Spirited Away". This movie is about a young girl traveling to a new home with her family, when she gets separated from her parents and ends up in a spirit world surrounded by spirits, ghosts, and wacky creatures that try to keep her captive there. This movie is touted in critical acclaim, but that does not always mean we will enjoy the movie. How much previous anime experience do each of us have? How often does Brandon get swirlied by 10 year old Japanese girls? And what is Seth's address? Tune in this week to find out all this and more, but only on "The Good, The Bad, & The Movies"!

  • 68. Morbius

It's Morbin' Time! Welcome to Spooktober, home of the Downtown Spookboys, and to kick off this season, we watched the 2022 cult classic meme movie, "Morbius". Join us as we explore this vampire based Marvel movie on a minor antihero character who is a doctor trying to find a cure to a rare blood disease, and ultimately turns himself into a vampire on his quest for the cure. Before you make any judgements about it, just remember that the xenophobic alien is quite the paradoxical concept.  What are our thoughts on Marvel movies? Is this episode morbed for your pleasure? And how sensitive are Seth's nipples. Tune in this week to find out all this and more, but only on "The Good, The Bad, & The Movies"!

  • TV Talk: The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald-Birthday World

We are so sorry guys! Brandon got last minute free tickets to an acapella concert, so he couldn't miss that. But we are here, just 14 hours late delivering you the content you all want and need because this is "TV Talk". And in this week's episode, we watched the first installment in the McDonald universe of VHS tapes, "The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald: Birthday World". This episode really takes a turn as it comes out 2 years after the release of the 3rd VHS. In this time, McDonald's really hit their stride in home video entertainment by getting rid of live action Sundae, updating their theme song, and creating a more wacky adventure for the McDonald's crew to go on. Birthday World revolves around the Hamburglar's mistakes of forgetting to get Ronald a birthday present, and when he is offered free tickets to an amusement park by a mad scientist, it is too good to pass up on. Unfortunately, this theme park is all a trap to turn the gang into babies for Professor Pinchworm to take over the universe. Are they able to stop Professor Pinchworm from turning the world into children? What shows had the best fast food marketing? And what is the unanimous first step in running for president? Tune in this week to find out all this and more, but only on "The Good, The Bad, & The Movies"!

  • 67. Drop Dead Fred

Goodness Gracious this is one divisive movie! On a recommendation from Brandon's mother, we decided to finally watch "Drop Dead Fred" this week, and we have not had a more divisive film since "Space Chimps" and "The Cat in the Hat". This movie is about a woman who loses everything in life: her husband, her car, and her job. After all these events, she moves back in with her mom where she then comes face to face with her childhood imaginary friend, Drop Dead Fred. These two end up destroying everything in their path with childlike humor and pranks to make Elizabeth happy and get her back together with her husband. Did Elizabeth need her husband back or was Fred what she needed all along? What is a normal houseboat? And what is the new '3rd base' these days? Tune in to find out all this and more, but only on "The Good, The Bad, & The Movies"!

  • TV Talk: The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald - The Visitors from Outer Space

Welcome Earthlings, to this week's episode of "TV Talk" where we watched our third installment in the McDonald's universe, "The Visitors from Outer Space". And it is very fitting because Brandon and Lukas are joined by a visitor, our good friend and co-host, Mr. Seth Tigner! Everyone give Seth a hand today. This episode takes us on a grand adventure from live action, to animated world, to space, and back home again. Along the way, pranks are played on each other, intergalactic baseball is played, and Grimace pushes a lot of buttons in the space ship. What classic literature does this episode take influence from? Who is the character 'I Am Hungry'? And how familiar is Seth with the movie "The Princess Diaries"? Tune in this week to find out all this and more, but only on "The Good, The Bad, & The Movies"!
