In this episode, the year 1956 is missing! Neddie Seagoon just wanted to buy a cheap calendar from Eccles, but all the calendars for that year have disappeared. Seagoon scours the length and breadth of England to find the missing year. The whole of England is puzzled, including Parliament and the Prime Minister. Grytpype-Thynne and Moriarty are also on the trail, especially since there's a cash reward for finding it. The search leads them to Africa, where Grytpype-Thynne steals Neddie's cash and leaves him desperate for water.
