FYI that I’ve also posted this essay over on my Instagram. Still figuring out what to post where, but I loved writing this so much that I’m putting it all the places.
I am evermore joyous–meaning, I feel good feeling in my body more of the time for no reason– bc I let myself go to evermore primal grief spaces.
(Hey-girl-haaaay, paradox!)
I consciously allow in more and more horrifying things, I consciously enable them in…and they source my joy.
More specifically: it is my welcoming them in, welcoming my horrors into my body, that sources my joy.
(Being welcoming to the horrors does make some sense. They’re already there in my body, after all.)
And this welcoming of my horrors…well, they just can’t believe it. And they melt.
And the bigger the horror, the more it melts.
My very daring and very brave act of welcoming that which we are most trained not to welcome shifts it into its conscious form.
And so, my horrors become my salvation.
More specifically: my horrors, which are in an unconscious expression of love, can take their conscious expression of love.
(Unconsciousness is hell. Consciousness is heaven. This is why unconscious expressions of a given thing–love, in this case–feel hellish and why conscious expressions of the very same love feel heavenly.)
My welcoming in of my horrors reveals them as my very salvation.
The bigger the horror, the greater the salvation it actually is–and wants, yearns, to be for you.
It’s why your horrors keep coming to you–not for you to fix them. But to see them.
To see them–to literally say to them, trembling all over and shaky and fucked up, “I see you, horror”--is to welcome them.
This welcoming, it is an energetic muscle. Start small. You’ll get stronger–not merely linearly or even rapidly: but exponentially so. Quantum leap-like.
Welcoming your horrors has swift consequences.
That thing you’ve been trying so hard to do for months but haven’t been able to make yourself to do: you’ll be able to do it.
Ideas, insights, creativity, and synchronicities unlock.
And for no particular reason: you just feel god–I mean, good:).

HEAT!
And so, I have another Substack podcast called The Heat Game, and that podcast is about topics related to the shadow-play group game I co-created called, you guessed it, The Heat Game, because we’re not coy and we’re not coy because we wanna get foundt! Our tagline is, “Become Unfuckwithable. Play HEAT.” Because if you play HEAT, you’ll indeed find evermore unfuckwithability happening in really really really happy ways.
What you’re about to hear is a podcast I just published over on the HEAT Substack.
It was so so soooo good, I wanted to share it here, too.
But the episode that we did was just really really special. I don’t know how else to say it. It just felt like a healing transmission, and it came to me: share it here at the GOP, too! I think you’ll love it, and you’ll get why it fits here.
in that podcast episode, Liz and I talk about what happened to me after a game-–a HEAT game--that we played last week—because things do be happenin’ after you play. Some of the content I played with during our game was “You’re not as pretty as you used to be.” I’ll leave it to you to listen and get all the context. But the thing is, once you play with content, whatever it is, that content goes from f*****g with you to making you very joyously unfuckwithable. Hence our tagline.
Upcoming public HEAT games
Public HEAT games happen on 2nd and 4th Mondays at 5 p.m. EST.
Next game: Monday, Dec. 23, at 5 p.m. EST
Cost: Show up and tip us as you will, darlings. All info here.
Feel free to come thru incognito with your video and sound off and with your zoom name changed to something unrecognizable—I’ve done that before when I’m trying something new, and it helps! But do come check us out. HEAT is a really cool thing.
Become Unfuckwithable. Play HEAT.
And now, on to today’s episode!
In this episode, Leslie shares what happens after playing HEAT with Liz.
Because things always happen after you play HEAT.
Magical things.
Cool things.
Beautiful things.
Enjoy!

What is the value of being embodied?
“I have never seen a more alive and powerful woman than a woman who is living in and with her body, in pleasure, emotion, and attention. This is a woman who owns her life.”
Chillzzzz!
Every sentence of this episode that features movement teacher, pleasure coach, and embodiment expert Sophie Luxton is a gem. I’m not exaggerating.
And, we talk practical action you can take, like, right now, to become more embodied and bring this woman—your realest, truest, you—to life.
A couple more Sophie jewels from our convo:
“The women I know who are getting the best, hottest, deepest, craziest s**t done are the women who are fully embodied.”
One way you can know you’re embodied: “When your body is a no, your mouth is a no.”
Sophie’s the real deal, y’all. Find her here.
Psst: Wanna explore more about unfuckablewithness after you listen to this episode?
‘Cause I seem to talk about it a lot.
Here’s an episode from my HEAT game podcast if you want more.

Listen on Spotify or Apple. (It might take a few minutes after I publish for this episode to show up in these places.)
Quick podcasted experience from last night.
Quick note: I mention the mix of anxiety, dread, and slow-motion panic I felt; but I didn’t mention that you don’t have to figure out the cause of the feeling in your body to be with it and for it to dissipate—in other words, you don’t have to know why you feel like s**t to experience relief and feeling better.
