It’s 490 | Matthew 18:22
How many times are we really expected to forgive?
Peter asked Jesus that question—and probably thoughtforgiving someone seven times sounded extraordinarily generous.
Jesus answered:
“Up to seventy times seven.”
But Jesus wasn’t giving Peter a larger number to keep in hisledger.
He was teaching him to put the ledger away.
In today’s Daily Draw, we explore what Jesus teachesabout forgiveness, why forgiveness and reconciliation aren’t always the samething, and how we can extend grace without abandoning wisdom or healthyboundaries.
We’ll also confront another ledger many of us carry—therecord of our own failures.
The cross reminds us that God never pretended sin didn’tmatter. Instead, He demonstrated its enormous cost and provided the answerthrough His Son, Jesus Christ.
If you don’t yet know Jesus personally, today’s Drawincludes a simple invitation to receive the forgiveness and salvation He freelyoffers.
This isn’t an invitation to religion.
It’s an invitation to know Jesus.
Come to the well today and discover why:
Forgiveness isn’t a number we reach.
It’s a way of life we learn.
One day. One truth. One step closer to Jesus.

Wisdom has a voice.
The question is: Will we listen?
In today’s Daily Draw, we explore Solomon’s vividpicture of Lady Wisdom calling to us at the gates, along the paths, and at theentrances—the very places where decisions are made.
Every day presents us with seemingly small choices: Will Ispeak or remain silent? Forgive or hold onto the offense? Follow God’s Word orrationalize what I already want? A single decision may seem insignificant, butover time:
Choices become patterns.
Patterns become habits.
Habits influence character.
And character can affect generations.
God sees the entire road when we can see only the next fewfeet. His wisdom invites us to trust Him with tomorrow while faithfullychoosing Him today.
And if you don’t yet know Jesus personally, this Daily Drawincludes a simple invitation to receive His free gift of salvation. This isn’tabout becoming religious.
It’s about knowing Jesus.
Come to the well and discover why eternal perspective canbring clarity to the choices you’re making today.
Wisdom is calling. Will you listen?
One day. One truth. One step closer to Jesus.

Day 7 — All Things, Not Some Things | Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
We know the verse—but do we understand what Paul meant by allthings?
In today’s Daily Draw, we look beyond the familiarwords of Philippians 4:13 and discover their powerful context. Paul wasn’tpromising that Christ would enable us to accomplish anything we desire. He wasrevealing something far greater: whatever circumstance God calls us to walkthrough, Christ will give us the strength to face it.
David understood this when he stood before Goliath. Hisconfidence wasn’t in his size, his weapons, or his ability. David knewsomething Goliath didn’t:
The battle is the Lord’s.
The same is true for us. Our giants may look like fear, insecurity, past failure, impossible circumstances, or an assignment that feelsmuch bigger than we are. But our strength was never supposed to come fromourselves.
Our strength is not our own. Our strength is His.
And if you don’t yet know the Christ who gives thatstrength, today’s Draw includes a simple invitation to receive His free gift ofsalvation—not an invitation to religion, but an invitation to know Jesus.
Come draw from the well with me today and ask:
What has God placed within my heart today that He may usefor His glory tomorrow?
One day. One truth. One step closer to Jesus.

What happens when our emotions rise faster than our wisdom?
In today’s Daily Draw, we explore the differencebetween feeling an emotion and allowing that emotion to lead us. Romans8:31 reminds us of a powerful truth: “If God is for us, who can be againstus?”
When we remain connected to Jesus, the Holy Spirit helps usrespond differently. Love, peace, gentleness, and self-control become more thanbiblical concepts—they become evidence of God at work within us.
Today we’ll consider the fear of God versus the fear of man,the witness created by our responses, and why our emotions can be valuableindicators—but terrible leaders.
And if you don’t yet know Jesus personally, today’s Drawincludes a simple invitation to receive His free gift of salvation. This isn’tabout finding religion. It’s about beginning a relationship with Jesus.
Come to the well with me today.
One day. One truth. One step closer to Jesus.

Day Five — Illuminated for God | Walking in His Light
What do you do when you can't see the road ahead?
Sometimes we want God to illuminate the entire journey—toshow us where we're going, what will happen, and how everything will turn out.
But often, God gives us enough light for the next step.
Today's Daily Draw comes from Psalm 36:9:
“For with You is the fountain of life;
In Your light we see light.”
In today's Drawing from the Deep Well, we're talkingabout what happens when we stop trying to navigate life's darkness on our ownand begin looking toward the One who is Light.
We'll discover the difference between seeking God's handand seeking His face, why we can confidently ask Him for wisdom, and howHis Word illuminates the path before us.
We don't manufacture God's light.
We reflect the One who is Light.
And when the road ahead seems uncertain, Psalm 119:105reminds us that God's Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.
Maybe you can't see where the road leads today.
That's okay.
You don't need to know everything that lies ahead whenyou know the One who is leading you there.
Seek His face.
Ask for His wisdom.
Follow His light.
Take the next faithful step.
Come to the well with me today. Let's draw deeply from God'sWord and learn what it means to walk illuminated by Him.

Day Four — The Heart of a Jawbreaker | A Tender Heart
How does a tender heart become hardened?
Usually, it doesn't happen all at once.
One disappointment. One rejection. One betrayal. Oneunresolved offense. Layer upon layer.
Today's Daily Draw comes from Proverbs 28:14 and anunlikely childhood memory—the colorful jawbreaker. What looks bright andinviting on the outside is formed by layer after hardened layer.
Our hearts can become much the same way.
In today's Drawing from the Deep Well, we'll talkabout the quiet process of heart-hardening, the work of the Holy Spirit, forgiveness, and God's desire to restore tenderness where hurt has been allowedto remain.
Sometimes the Holy Spirit brings an old wound back to ourremembrance—not so we'll relive the pain, but so we'll finally surrender whatwe've buried and allow God's healing to reach it.
One layer at a time.
One offense at a time.
One act of obedience at a time.
Because a tender heart isn't a weak heart.
It's a heart God can mold.
Come to the well with me today. Let's ask God to search ourhearts, remove what has hardened within us, and teach us how to remain tendertoward Him and toward others.

How many times can we forgive before we feel like we havenothing left to give?
Today’s Daily Draw comes from Exodus 32:9 and the pictureof a rock cutter striking an enormous stone again and again. For ninety-nineblows, nothing seems to change. Then comes the one-hundredth strike—and thestone breaks.
But it wasn't only the final blow that mattered. Everystrike was part of the process.
Forgiveness can feel much the same. Every prayer, everysurrender, and every decision to release an offense to God is anotherpurposeful strike against the hardness that can form within our hearts.
In today’s Drawing from the Deep Well, we’ll talk aboutforgiveness, perseverance, the work of the Holy Spirit, and what happens whenwe finally admit, “Father, I cannot do this in my own strength.”
Because forgiveness isn't pretending the hurt didn'thappen. It's refusing to let the hurt take possession of our hearts.
Only God can toughen our skin toward offenses whilekeeping our hearts tender toward people.
Come to the well with me today. Let's draw deeply fromGod's Word and learn to become more like Jesus—one purposeful strike at a time.

Day 2 — He Died a Criminal’s Death
Jesus Christ was innocent—yet He was condemned, crucifiedbetween criminals, and died the death reserved for the guilty.
In today’s Daily Draw, we look at the extraordinaryexchange that took place at the cross: the sinless Son of God willingly stoodin the place of sinners. He bore what we deserved so that through Him, we couldreceive what we could never earn—forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life.
The cross was not an accident or the tragic end of Jesus’ministry. It was the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan.
Come draw deeply from God’s Word as we consider whatChrist’s sacrifice reveals about the seriousness of sin, the magnitude of God’slove, and the breathtaking grace offered to us through Jesus.
One day. One truth. One step closer to Jesus.

January 1 — Forgiveness Looks Good on You
What happens when yesterday's hurt begins occupying today's heart?
In today's Daily Draw, we're drawing from Hebrews6:18 and considering the freedom found in forgiveness. Forgiveness doesn'tpretend the hurt never happened or call wrong right. It releases the offenseinto the hands of God and refuses to allow another person's actions to keep ourhearts imprisoned.
Drawing from the Deep Well is where real life meetsbiblical truth—and where the wisdom we discover in God's Word becomes wisdom weactually live.
Each Daily Draw begins with Scripture, offers a shortbiblical reflection and prayer, and ends with an invitation to Draw from theWell for yourself:
What does this reveal about God?
What is the Holy Spirit showing me?
How does this apply to my life?
What will I do with what I have learned?
Then carry one truth from God's Word with you into the dayahead.
Open your Bible. Seek truth. Draw deeply from God's Word. And above all, keep walking with Jesus.
One day. One truth. One step closer to Jesus.
