John does not wait to tell us who Jesus is. Jesus is the outward expression of the invisible God who came to give life to those He created.

John writes his gospel account so that his readers would believe in Jesus Christ and have an abundant and eternal life in him.

As we fight against sin and an enemy seeking to destroy us, let's engage the weapon that God has given us: His Word.

We must steadily pursue maturity in the faith by digesting the deep truths

of God’s word. We are in a fight to either be complacent or to pursue maturity in Christ.

We end the year by praying through the Core Values of our church and commit to focusing on Jesus in 2019.

Christmas reminds us that God gave his Son Jesus as the greatest gift imaginable because it was the exact gift we need. Jesus is the one who saves us.
