This week, The Grainery Church celebrates 25 years where our current and foundin Pastors talk about the past, present and future of this church.
Richard and Lea Rule, founding pastors of the Grainery Church, speak of the foundation years of the Grainery.
Pastor Sue Irwin shares how the current era in the Western world is a time of change which is an age of anxiety, politicisation and polarisation, and a time of individualism. She links this to the present day role of the church to bring Gods love , his Spirit and his gospel to our society. To us this requires some self evaluation, building on our strengths as a church and working on our weaknesses.
Sue goes on to ask “Where are we going?”. Focusing us on a coming revival and rebirth of the church, she encourages us to be thoroughly filled with God’s Spirit and continue as disciples and disciple makers.
