Our heroes arrive at the Hero Institute, ready to see what the day holds for them. Glider is surprised by an offer of speedster coffee from the Phoenix, who was stopping by after doing his team’s coffee run.

Then on the inside, they nearly run into a spot of trouble and we see the start of a rivalry with Hubris.

Marcus returns home and takes some time to decompress before going to tell his dad about what happened with the test. Felix continues to be supportive and tries to brush the hands off as a fluke, but Marcus isn’t buying it so he goes to experiment.

Madigan goes home and has to come to terms with the fact that she will one day have to choose between her career in tech and her career as a hero. Because as much as she loves tech, she loves helping those in need.

Glider returns home to her parents who are less than enthusiastic about having their daughter become a superhero. They share their concerns and she goes back to her ordinary life, waiting eagerly to hear back from the Institute.

Our hopeful heroes take some time to unwind with a celebratory boba in light of their passing the first test. They still have a lot to learn about being heroes, but this is their first step.

They also have a lot to learn about each other.

Some things didn’t go exactly to plan, but now it is time to stop the villains before they can finish the device and destroy the hotel. The fight is going to be three on three, assuming their intel is correct, and it is going to be a tough one indeed.

Our heroes split up to cripple the device and get the lay of the land before they take down the villains in the penthouse.

They also get a taste of how dangerous the hero life can be.

Our heroes find themselves in the first part of the interview process for the Hero Institute, which is an unexpected test where they need to save the hotel and those trapped inside. So they begin their recon and start looking for the villains they are supposed to face.

Glider, Scarlet Sentinel, and Kid Phoenix are three of Queen City’s up-and-coming superheroes. A few weeks ago, they stopped the vile FumiGator from getting his hands on a special program developed by ZPT for AEGIS. Tonight, they have been invited to a special event celebrating the city’s bright future.

They were told they would be receiving a reward, but it seems they are in for something unexpected.

The Hunters follow the trail to a full-grown gremlin who is preparing to cast something. They interrupt it and sustain some damage while getting it under control, but they do manage to secure the creature and its contraband. Then they go rescue the person who went missing.
