"What if we could dance in the morning before going to work, without substances, and create an inclusive environment to connect, self-express and move our bodies with reckless abandon? What if we could make New York City, arguably one of the world's loneliest cities, a place of community and belonging?"
Radha Agrawal (Co-Founder Daybreaker)
Radha is a community force. She is the co-Founder, CEO and Chief Community Architect of Daybreaker, the early morning dance and wellness move-ment that currently holds events in 25 cities and over a dozen college campuses around the world with a community of almost half a million people. She is a successful entrepreneur (Co-Founder THINX, LiveItUp), author, globe trotting speaker, DJ, inventor, and investor.
Community architect, Chief Partnership Officer, and Head of Production for Daybreaker, Eli Clark-Davis has built his career on positivity, playfulness and a double decker smile.
He is best known for bringing challenging Daybreaker productions to life and executing partnerships with the biggest brands and organizations in the world including The White House, Nike, AMEX, Samsung, IBM Watson, GE, Saks Fifth Ave, NFL, Calvin Klein, Reebok, Whole Foods, Clinique, New Balance, Lululemon, H&M, Macy’s and Viacom among many others.
He and Radha met at Daybreaker, are now engaged (hello dance-floor romance) and together, they run it as a family business with no investors or financial backers. #for-the-community-by-the-community
Radha's new book BELONG answers the questions, "how the heck do I find my people?" and "How do I create large and meaningful communities in the real world?". She spent 18 months synthesizing her key methods for community building, peeling back the curtain on exactly what she and her team did (and continues to do) at Daybreaker so that anyone interested in creating their own community could have a blueprint for how to do it.
