Four years ago not too long after the election I put out a podcast that encompassed what I then thought was the perfect analogy for the political climate the new administration brought us in. It was right out of a 1970s horror movie. Tonight I revisit that show as well as add on my thoughts about where in this movie we currently are. It's super fitting that Halloween and the election were so close together because this past four years has been nothing but a horror show.

I believe that in season one of this how I told the story of why I left the Republican Party, and while I am not a Democrat, I lean Democratic now. In this episode, I am going to run you through why my stance on capital punishment changed. I used to be aggressively anti-capitol punishment and now I am completely pro-death penalty. Today's show was only supposed to be 5 to 10 minutes. Turned out, I had a lot more to say. Over this past weekend Blotus was diagnosed with COVID and spent time at Walter Reed Hospital as a result. Before we find out whether he's going to live or die I just wished to make my feelings known about the whole thing and even for the people who know me, I don't think I feel what y'all might think I feel. So let's take a few minutes and dissect this.

So I am having a day full of regret for something that happened when I was 10 years old. Something happened earlier today that not only reminded me of something that happened 30 years ago, but it may have put it in a dire context that may have been missing when I was a kid.
