This was recorded four days ago. That is important because now I'm beginning to hear other people make the same assertion I made. I heard a story, and right away my spidey senses started tingling and my red flag went up. From the moment I first heard the story I found it suspect for one specific reason. So I recorded it... Coronavirus! Coronavirus! It's getting real. Shit is getting real!!! LOL. Don't worry, that's not what the topic of this show is today. That's just the new theme song for season 3. Something happened during the campaign of one of the Democratic candidates for president that I gotta talk about. I got to see it live as it happened but there was a black journalist who was there that witnessed it and she describes this particular incident perfectly. I am not a fan of politics but I do keep updated because one of my minors was political science and because these people are the ones who get to decide what we can and cannot do when we walk out of our front doors in the morning. However, this particular incident seemed like karma and I am all the way here for it. Needs to happen more often.

I did something very unlike myself this year. I went almost all of black history month without talking about black history (mostly because I talk about black shit all year long. This episode is to end BHM with a bang. It is an aural presentation of my Anthropology 416: Scientific Racism final project from 2018. I did get a perfect score on it (4.0) and it was moving enough that someone who saw it online invited me to give a talk at their establishment. If we set a date, I'll put out a short minisode to let you all know when and where. Until then, I hope you enjoy the episode.

Parents, you need to (especially in this internet age) talk to your children about the issues that are hard to talk about. I know it's difficult but the things you don't teach your children, they will pick up second hand. The things you don't tell them, someone else will. In this Mini I tell about my experience doing this very thing, maybe a week ago.

This quick first episode is meant to be an orientation to what Revisited is. So you will still get the same topics, punch, humor and rawness that comes with TGD but the mini episodes will be shorter. They are intended to keep you sane in between the regular shows.
