To prepare for the TV series coming out, we read the 2014 Tumblr classic We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. For one of us this was a reread, while the other got to experience that insane twist ending for the first time. Suffice it to say we went on a JOURNEY.

Welcome to our May book club! Korean folklore, melodramatic teenagers, and the chance to change your fate are among the discussion topics for our review of The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh. One of us enjoyed this book a lot less than the other, which gave us a lot to sink our teeth into as we tried to figure out why.
