GOOD NEWS - SO YOU CAN BE RESCUED

Promises from God for overcoming. Engagement is required. Beds of roses not always available. However, victory IS available -- with God. God's way is a way of truth and righteousness/justice. Psalm for the year is 85. Check out verse 11, knowing that righteousness (doing the right thing) and justice are the same word in Hebrew (original language in which the Psalm was written. )

If you don't know the Lord, if you are not saved (rescued), then pray this prayer from your heart: "Dear God, I am sorry for my sins and I am willing to go your way, the right way. I believe you raised Jesus from the dead (so you have great power to improve everything including my life) and I recognize you as Lord (meaning God an the authority.) Please save me now. " Pray this prayer, and then believe, according to Romans 10:10 that you ARE saved and will be saved, based on God's faithfulness to His Word. This works for now and all eternity.

The rescued are called to be rescuers.

Our position is that as parents and educators, we want to overcome learning problems, rather than labeling our children as disabled -- thus intentionally failing to do our job, thus damaging children, thus increasing resentment in order to overturn "the hegemonic order."

Problems need solving. Learning problems need to be solved or worked around -- or in some other way to be overcome. This is the path to a successful and happy life. This is the path that works.

This is also the Biblical was to proceed. We are called to be overcomers -- by faith, and woks. The Word of God and the example of Jesus and the leadership of Holy Spirit in all ways invites us to have hope, faith, hearing of good ideas, selfless service, and long-term blessing.

By contrast, there is another path. One that insists on labeling problems as either insignificant thus unaddressed -- or as "disabilities."  Disabled? meaning not able!  Labeling theory, long and strongly accepted in Psychology, Sociology and Education disciplines shows how people live up -- or down -- to labels. Nowhere is this more true than with children and social environment of school. Please see academic paper by Sales connecting JD and LD in the 1990s. Older, more well known work is widely known by Rosenhans, Schiff, Becker and others.

Diagnosis can be used as death knells, or as I encourage, as direction to parents and educators. However, if diagnosis are used for labeling (and they inevitably are in schools) the path is turned away from solving problems. Educators do not remediate but rather accommodate -- at best. Look around. Notice, as the oldest research in teachers' behavior showed, that teacher treat anyone with LD diagnosis/label as less intelligent. Thus, they get less, rather than more, quality education. They get pulled out of class, so they miss more. They have abbreviated curricula, missing more. They get drilled over and over again at what they are weak in, thus insuring demoralization.

But there is much more. If you have read James Lindsay, or Alex Newman, or Paolo Friere you might even be able to detect it in the critiq2ue of what we are doing by the conventional LD podcast. It is important in Marxist thought to always tear down whatever is considered normal. It is important to weaponize one group against another. Marx himself said in Das Kapital that he cared nothing for science, but only wanted to increase conflict, in order to improve society. Marx originally was thinking of class warfare. However, in the United States, where nearly everyone thinks of themselves as middle class, other conflicts have been intentionally excerbated. Whereas once the government school could not be  bother about  learning problems, and parents worked to get education for their children, since oh about 2000, public educators have been grooming students and their parents to be hostile to educators in a way to ensure the greatest conflict. Teachers are constrained by school rules; schools insist on being in complete control of any move regarding the "learning disabled." Thus, fewer problems get fixed; fewer even than when the problem was not recognized.

This is in larger context, also a Marxist ploy. In our 5th generation warfare environment, in our cold WWIII, outside forces that have taken over the elite, are ensuring that our youth are not educated. Not in academics. Not in social skills. Not developed in anything -- except perhaps in being weaponized, emotionally triggered pawns.

Once you see this, listen again to our detractors. You choose. Do you want to spend your time and money in resentment and conflict and status squabbles? Or would you like to have learning problems solved, and weaknesses overcoming by strength, and faith applied to find good ideas -- for success and total well-being. Two paths. You decide.

A review of the book Body Electric  reveals that it has long been known that human bodies put of EMF and that various EMF does affect human bodies. Therefore, now, more than ever, we must inform ourselves. Some frequencies can be useful for healing and others might be harmful. Positive and long standing science here -- for your health and healing.

As I related, I was at a healing ministry conference and heard a presentation about EMF relating to human health. There seemed to be a great deal of interest from the crowd, so I thought I would share a little more than the presenter did, who just gave an introduction. EMF can be used in creative ways for health.

The first EMF we think of might be... light. Sunlight is actually good for us -- in proper doses -- And in modern society, often we don't get enough.

You might be surprised that even colored lights can be used as therapy. Many peopel now are aware of infrared sauna for health purposed.

EMf RELATING TO HEALING AND HEALTH

I was at a healing ministry conference and someone, purportedly with a scientific background, gave a sermon on EMF. Everyone was excited. As long-time listeners know, I have addressed the topic twice since this ministry began. The first time, I was still on the radio, but also podcasting. WOW! was I ever punished! Many listeners left at that time. Like so many "conspiracy theories" what I said has been proven true.

(Of course, what I put out was not a theory nor about a conspiracy, but based on proven science, but I guess my listeners can't tell. That is why I have a better thinking skills series going on.)

So, rather than spend an hour, with tones of historical preaching telling you that EMF is a thing related to health, I will give you some practicalities.

DEFINITIONS

EMF means all electro-magnetic frequencies, so it covers electricity, radio, light, sound, microwaves, magnetism -- all in a spectrum. Each part of the spectrum has a name and some measurement. So, radio frequency RF is measured in Hertz. Electricity is measured in watts, volts, amps. Magnetism is measured in gauss. For more information, get a phsyical science book. Great lessons here!

Now, here is one I fail to add to the audio: you can measure the emf around you! You SHOULD MEASURE THE EMF around you. Then measure. We can argue what is a safe level, but just look on the meter (look at both milliamps and milligaus) and see what is significant and what is a lot.

NEW LEARNING AND APPLICATION  - MEASURE!!!

I was inspired by listening to someone who discovered his wife's wireless printer was putting out a lot and she had been sitting beside it for years. No wonder she was having senior moments. I always avoided wireless, because I knew. So, my printer is connected by a cord. But my air purifier, which sits next to me, was measuring off the charts! My desktop was insignificant, but my laptop was half way across the arc. So, now I am not nearly so worried about my laptop, but I sure moved my air purifier far away from me. No need it sitting beside me. Who knew!?!? (Be ware of knock-offs!)

Now, emf falls off at the cube of the distance, so how far away you put your CPU (works of your computer) matters. Set it further away. Put your cell phone on speaker phone or use air pods (better than wires).

So, if you want to get a tri-meter or a multi-meter, you probably can borrow one from your friendly neighborhood electrical engineer or a ham radio operator or someone like that. You can buy one for maybe $100. You can do that simple way of just seeing what is significant across the measuring arc. Alternatively, you can get into the details about what is safe limit. Notice that American manufacturers have lower standards than European. Further, American manufacturers often control the government agencies which set standards. Also, there is such a thing as duty cycles. What is safe for a short time, is not safe for long exposure. That is why for instance, in the American military, in the old days, when guys were on old radios, they could only serve at that desk for so many hours and then had to rotate. So, the humans had a duty cycle for safety.

Thanks so much for the uptick in listening! We always have a high rate for listening completions, but we saw a geometric increase in number of listens this week. So, for that reason, I decided to give you this episode in our Better Thinking Series (rather than more of the requested "pray better" series. Also, have a couple more series in the hopper: EMF and LD discussion. It will be a spicy and useful fall. Even if you have distractions that are really important.

So, how to think better, must include failing to be triggered. Wow! people have intentionally trained students to slip into emotional rather than logical thinking! Further, I notice shenanigans in business might tempt a normal person to just get angry or just get scared or just get depressed, rather than press through with logical thinking -- and thereby solve problems.

We consider these dynamics today. Notice how people try to shift you to emotion. Are they covering up something and hoping you don't notice something? Thus reducing your evidence. Maybe they want to weaponize you, making you a weapon in their campaign? First, you must notice this. Then, you must be able to control your emotion -- and keep thinking.

We have two goodie handouts up. The Parsing Stories Handout goes with the next episode, but does have a little triggered point. Don't be so triggered that you can't to the challenge! LOL The challenges are more for adults, or near adults. Please use this to increase your ability and then teach your children in real time, as you live life together. It is much harder for me to come up with examples with children, at least for now.

This relates directly to students with learning disabilities, but at least if they are in government school, they are spending so much time struggling with school and academics, that they miss the training in social behavior and logic. In other words, they might be stuck in decoding letters and words and missing the deeper meaning. So, teaching them directly about this. Of course, they can get it -- entirely -- just let them have an opportunity. I remember a boy in my daughter's dyslexia class. He had so very many problems, but if he were on a stage, with hecklers, he could manage them better than anyone I know of. So, of course they can understand this how to think better series. They just need access, opportunity, and mentors!

Children need to be rescued out of them. But, on the other hand, I see adults who were formed by and certified by these horrific schools. Let's get some education. Good news: doesn't take long.
