I am in the middle of moving right now and have not had time to edit anything new, so I figured this would be a good time for another GribClassic.
In this episode The Gribshnobler is joined by Lady Miss Gee and her niece Little Miss Lady A to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Equestria Girls. Not only that, you also get to hear some great pony related music by Pity Rally and Yourenigma! Because this episode turned out to be so totally epic it had to be split in half, so be on the lookout for part two, which will be posted shortly.

In this GribClassic, The Gribshnobler talks briefly about what was his new job at the time and the making of the first episode. Then he is joined again by LadyMsGee for an extended discussion of the films of italian director Lina Wertmuller. with special focus on the recently viewed "The Seduction of Mimi", "The Belle Starr Story" and "All Screwed Up". (Warning: Although explicit language is not used, many of the films mentioned deal with sensitive subject matter, which we therefore discuss as well. Also, while major spoilers are avoided, there are several plot points and events that are referred to).
Stay tuned, beause by the end of the month there will be a brand new episode of The GribCast, in which I will talk about the new Yes album with musician John Demarkis.

After some announcements The Gribshnobler discusses the late Robin Williams and his work with Lady Miss Gee, who also opens up about her own struggles with depression. The last half hour features further discussion and statements about Williams from other friends and family, including Hannah, musician John Demarkis, The Great Niccolini, Ryon Wells, and Lady Miss Gee's niece (Little Miss Lady A) and sister (Michelle). Note: This is the first GribCast with an explicit tag, as there is a small amount of language and raunchiness, particularly when discussing "Death to Smoochy"

This is a new 64 kbs upload of the very first episode of The GribCast. The Gribshnobler talks about what it's like to make a podcast for graduate school and then he and LadyMsGee discuss the animated films "Chico & Rita" and "The Rabbi's Cat".

Note: When we mention Felix the Cat we are actually referring to the film Fritz The Cat directed by Ralph Bakshi, which I promise you is a very different entity.
The Gribshnobler and The Contrarian watch the classic 1943 Disney short Applecore, starring Donald Duck and Chip & Dale and directed by Jack Hannah.
The Contrarian had an idea for a podcast in which he and I watch single cartoon shorts or episodes together, so we decided we could try it out as a sort of sub-podcast. The idea is that most of the time we will do a commentary with further discussion afterwards, with most of the episodes being on the shorter side, although we will probably break from the formula as needed.
This is our first go at it so let us know what you think.
Update: You can watch the cartoon here on Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YaHngsvGGs
In the tenth episode of The GribCast, The Gribshnobler is joined for the first time by his friend The Contrarian. Together they spend most of the episode comparing Orson Scott Card's novel Ender's Game to the recent film adaptation. Along the way they also ramble about Batman, other sci-fi and comic adaptations, and a few more random things. Spoiler Alert!! We discuss many, many details of the book and film, including a description of the near end twist shared by both.
