In this episode Heather shares her experiences that brought moments of nostalgia, challenges, teachable moments, and how to sit with the emotion of disappointment. She expresses how not only rural living was calling her home but her role as a teacher will always be pulling at her in one way or another whether it is in the classroom or on the yoga mat. After opening a yoga studio while taking a leave of absence from her teaching career she steps into courage by overcoming the fear of failure. She also touches on that you have to ask, if you don’t ask the answer will always be no. She encourages us to keep our eyes open for all the things that are coming your way that you aren’t expecting, and that sometimes we put blinders on when we have all these expectations. Please join me on this adventurous expedition with Homesteader Heather the lifelong learner.
