In our final episode of Season One, we have a very candid chat with Barney (David) and Kada (Kate) Miller.
Barney and Kada Miller share a love for the ages, which has healed them and grounded them as they grow together. Today, Kada is living her childhood dream as a powerful musician whose work is incredibly inspirational. Barney (or David, as he was Christened) is an AS-5 adaptive Surfing World Champion gaining his title in 2017. But like any true Shakespearean love story, our heroes have faced their fair share of tragedy that has forced immense growth.
Barney and Kada take us through so many intimate parts of their story, both individually and together, shedding light on Barney’s recovery from a severe spinal injury, how he is achieving things medical professionals never thought possible, and Kada’s journey from an experience with Rape and Alcoholism to becoming an advocate for positive change and kicking goals.

In Episode 7 we have an honest conversation with the lovely Elle Halliwell. Elle needs no introduction – she is a well accomplished Australian Journalist, Author, Entrepreneur, Mum to little Thor, and Cancer survivor. She is also one of the humblest people we have met. Elle was generous enough to chat to us about the early stages of her life and how she started her career in Journalism, the turning points that helped her to realise that her job wasn’t in alignment with her values and her soul's calling, her journey with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and how this has impacted her and how she now shows up in the world. Elle also takes us through the purpose surrounding her new business Auricle Ear Seeds and how it is enabling regular people like us to overcome and prevent adverse health conditions so simply.

Our Episode 6 grow-guest is a dear friend and mentor of Vicky's. Maddy Muscat grew up in Melbourne, and after completing degrees in communications, media studies and French at the University of Melbourne and the Universite Jean Moulin in Lyon (France), she started her career in marketing and digital strategy. Maddy has seen her fair share of growth catalysed by challenge, and we explore much of this in her episode, as Maddy wittily takes us through her life changing experiences while showering us with words of wisdom.

In Episode 4 of The Growject, we chat to George Lizos. Spiritual teacher, intuitive, author of ‘Be the Guru’ and the #1 Bestselling author of Lightworkers Gotta Work, Co-creator of Elemental Healing, and host of The Lit Up Lightworker podcast. George helps light workers (those with the purpose of raising the collective vibration of the world we live in) to find their life purpose and work their light in real palpable ways that create positive change in the world.
In this episode, we get insight into George’s openness about being gay, how coming to terms with this almost cost him his life, the balance of masculine and feminine energy, healing the abuse of patriarchy as a community, and how we can take steps towards answering the big question of ‘What is our life’s purpose’?
This episode gets us thinking about...
What are we letting into our lives, and which opinions of others are we allowing to dictate our reality?
How do we show up in the world, and are we expecting things to just happen for us?
What can we do to protect our energy, to ensure that we are creating the life we are being called to create?
