Made profit, but where’s the cash?
Awesome, you set out to be your own boss and this roller coaster is now the boss of you. Yet your relentless work doesn’t free you, it drains you. You are the risk-taker, the one who’s created something that didn’t exist before and your reward is that you get paid last or maybe you don’t get paid at all this month.
Business owners eat last. It shouldn’t be so desperate that you take a restaurant hostage (yes, this episode includes a story about a hostage situation).
Flirting with entrepreneurial poverty is a thing. I talk about business growth a lot and it doesn’t make sense to do that without taking a little time to talk about financial health. So if you’ve ever sat in front of your accountant who’s reading your Profit & Loss telling you that you’ve made six figures in profit but you’re wondering where the cash is, join me on a little journey to bust some myths and take tiny steps to change the financial health of your business today.
If I can help, you want to talk it through or need some accountability then DM me on social media the word GROWTH or email me [email protected] and let’s set up a clarity call.

You want to make more sales, right? You want to make more sales with less sleaze and more ease, right? This episode it for you if you want to actually reach your sales goals.
First I want to share with you that sales was not always in my DNA, in fact, I hated it. I would find all and every way to procrastinate until I was at the bottom of the boom and bust rollercoaster and necessity would drive me to hustle and get back up again.
That rollercoaster forced me to make some shifts and I want to share those with you. Because I know all too well the exhaustion, the emotions and how draining it is to ride that boom and bust rollercoaster and flirt with entrepreneurial poverty.
Before you hit next and scroll on by, this podcast isn’t about mindset. I’ve got 5 powerful, simple and actionable steps.
Let’s do this.

Marketing, a necessary evil or where innovation and creativity go into creating your Path to Profit? How do you view marketing in your business? I hope that if you’re in the necessary evil camp, after this episode you have a different view.
There’s no argument how difficult and hard businesses have had it in the last few years. The ones who have navigated these choppy waters are the ones where their marketing, sales, products or services and customer experience are aligned. You could say they’re a synchronised swimming team, found balance and invested in these functions working together.
Let’s talk about the five roles of marketing in your business (the focus of which is to get and keep new clients).
As you’re making your marketing plans, if I can support you or help you move forward further faster DM me on social with the word GROWTH or email me [email protected] and let’s book in a free strategy call.

If you are going to spend time, resources and money on growing your business, 'brand awareness isn’t a worthy goal. What your marketing efforts should be about is demand generation and driving interest for your services.

You might know that before becoming a full-time business coach, I came from a marketing background and ran a small digital agency for twelve years. After having time to reflect, I thought I’d share the seven biggest mistakes I made in my agency business.
My hope is that you take something away, whether it be a lightbulb moment or a word of caution. Maybe even the inspiration to get you to start changing before your agency or business changes you!

When I work with agencies and service-based businesses, one of the things I get excitable about is charging more by finding your perfect price point and creating consistent revenue in your business. A lot of businesses tell me through gritted teeth that their competitors charge so much more AND get away with it. Let’s talk about that and what you need to do to fix it.
