On Monday I had the pleasure of speaking to businessman, philanthropist and Elected Mayor of Middlesbrough Andy Preston. Andy was incredibly humble in his message, as he shared his early years on not enjoying school, to finding success through working hard and getting into finance, to upon returning to the North East seeing the opportunity to help others and the creation of two charities CEO Sleepout UK and the MIDDLESBROUGH AND TEESSIDE PHILANTHROPIC FOUNDATION, before sharing what inspired him to go into public service to try and make a difference.  What struck me from the conversation was meeting an incredibly passionate man who shares the same values of working hard and giving back, and someone who definitely wants to leave the world in a better place than he found it.   Andy thank you so much for your time!
