Belle Island is a little slice of wilderness that if you don't live in Richmond, you may not know about. Also tonight we're going to see the Beatles tribute band Rain which I've looked forward to for years!

Attended a memorial service for a long time friend and work colleague. A sad occasion, but I was happy to see how many showed up that I knew from work to celebrate and remember this man

Virtual Macstock 2021. Mistakes were made,,,and they were all mine. Some lessons learned that I hope I'll remember for the next time...sure I will

Believe it or not, we had sort of intended to do a show from Macstock or nearby at least, but circumstanced deemed otherwise. Some virtual (but very real) technical issues, audio feedback, and the fact that Guy took a laptop running a Mojave beta (so no Rogue Amoeba apps could be run) meant that frankly it was just impossible. It also didn’t matter how many microphones Guy took with him (over 10) no matter what he thought at the time he was gathering them.

Part 2 of the Chicago Virtual Macstock 2021 trip. Adventures in iPhone 13-land and more about my Samsung (GASP!) smartphone

I'm back from Macstock and FULL of stories to tell! More to come in future vids, but this one has my tale of woe with the Thrifty Car Rental company.

Traveling to the Chicago area next Thursday (TODAY as I upload this) to help out with Macstock! Meeting up with Dave Ginsburg to eat some deep dish and record some audio! Man sounds like a good time!

Mike Potter that MacStock Wizard is getting ready to host another Macstock in Woodstock, Illinois. Like last year, he’ll wave his magic wand and make it all virtual! Well most of it anyway.
