In Luke 8:16-21, we explore what it means to have a noble heart rooted in the gospel and see the Word in action. As Jesus explains, hearts rooted in the Word reveal their faith to others, listen to the Word, and practice their faith in the context of community.

Jesus told parables often to those around him. While many did not understand, some did and were moved by Jesus’ compassion and mission for the lost.
