The Hangout with Rushdi

Osamas continues his questioning about myths and how much Rushdi believes in them!

Stay tuned to Hangout more with Rushdi and his accomplices!

Osama drops by to talk about the "believability" of myths from across the globe..

Do you agree?

Hey yall!

Episode drop with these two characters again. Hope everyone's been qurantining and social distancing well.

Its been a weird time but who doesn't like spontaneity.. am I right?

Welcome to this episode is pretty much a standard tangent jumping, spiralling down a staircase of topics like love and faith, little chat about arranged marriage. Then we sprinkle a little of layman's quantum mechanics and then, of course, the cherry that is patriarchal vs matriarchal societies. Not versus, but.. you get it!

Enjoy this episode, if you like it let me know, if you hate it.. let Mansi know!

Hey guys,

New episode drop.

I once again chill(ed) with Osama and we keep it simple with talking about electric cars and hacks to exercises which Osama puts to use often. Well, I didn't believe but they did sound useful.

Im keeping it short because I am in the middle of such an awesome clean up spree, I hope you guys enjoy the episode and hope you guys are keeping safe!

Stay tuned from more episodes from the vault.

Hey!

Its been a while.

Work flippity flops and a pandemic has acted as a double edged sword. We have a few episodes in the bank but also I havent been uploading them sooo.. sorry?

Topics we cover with Shazil and Mansi, a memento mori! An artistic or symbolic reminder of the inevitability of death, we could all use this once in a while.

We talk about treating time as an investment.

Then we ramble on marriage, cover the generation gap and then because of the time we had we bounce from education - life & compartmentalization because we are experts in the field.

Hey guys,

This week on The Hangout (weeks ago in real time) I sit down with a young, tenacious lad I've recently met on the arts scene, Ahmed Abdullah.

An aspiring actor, we crossed paths at the Courtyard Playhouse while he was taking a course and we got to talking. Nothing like some bro love through the art of Improv.

He hails from Bahrain but is certainly a rare type of individual considering what he's done (Korean Martial Arts) as well as where he intends to end up (on the big screen)

At the tender age of 18 he still shares such vital information and advice for anyone interested in pursuing an education and career in acting.

As always, thanks for coming out to hangout with us. Enjoy being a fly in this conversation.

Hello!

We are back!

Ive been missing for a bit, but I will admit we have a few episodes in the vault so keep it coming.

THIS WEEK *drum roll*

I sit down with Uneeb, some of you may know him as Osama. I'm not completely sure if they are legit or pseudo names. Let's go with Uneeb Osama!

He came prepared and first off wanted to share what he thought was the story of the day, love at first listen for me!

He tells me about a study done with rats and cheerios. My apologies in advance for laughing so much, I was just caught off guard.

The rest of the episode is Uneeb quizzing me on Space and some of the things a lot of people may not know. A simple example is, poop matters. Im not trying to highlight its importance, I mean, matters of the poop.

I think I did quite well, I got to ding the bell alot. Although you can be the judge at the end of the day!

Enjoy the show!

Hey guys,

This is episode is slightly special because the clock is ticking for the play Chuhal.

I had a visit from the Director Huda Bhaldar & one of the plays leading actors Saleem Surani.

The play revives contemporary Hindi theatre of which Manav Kaul’s work is an epitome. Chuhal is the story of two strangers who fall in love despite their contrasting personalities and the ideas of a happy ending. It’s their journey of discovering oneself and the other that empowers.

The play takes you through a series of light-hearted conversations that make you laugh and reflect upon the meaning of love, life and relationships. It's at times based in abstract, at times so real. Come Find out where this 'Chuhal' will lead.

A story of love and liberation that is so ordinary yet so extraordinary.

It was a fun relaxed chat about the journeys of Huda and Saleem began respectively.

All in all it was a fun chat about an upcoming, locally produced play that is coming up in The Junction on the 10th of January. This play is being put on due to high demand so make sure to grab your tickets before they run out.

As always, enjoy the show.
