The Hangry Mexican Podcast

Life as an actor is never easy...unless you hit it big. You must have a thick skin for all of the rejection that coming. But life as an actor is also rewarding in more ways than one. Jesus Lloveras is an emerging actor attached to so many great projects -- most recently, Netflix's popular crime drama "Money Heist."

Jesus opens up about life as an actor, the pros, the cons, the long flights from project to project. It's a glimpse into something many of us wish we could do but very few of us are willing to stick it out. So stick around, today's guest might just leave you with a few words of wisdom that you can apply to life in whatever you do.

Note: The first half of this episode is our interview in English. The second half is our interview in Spanish for the international audience. Jesus, after all, is a gem coming to us from Spain. Enjoy.

I think we're all guilty of collecting things until we have no more room to store them at our homes, or things that no longer may serve a purpose, but you don't know what to do, how to declutter, how to get things organized and find that perfect balance in life again with your special possessions. Elva Fonseca from Sensational Organizing, a professional organizer, is here to help.

Now in its 95th year, Fiesta continues to be a way for Santa Barbara to celebrate its Spanish, Latino, Native American roots and history. The festival is unique from many in that it's run by a volunteer Board of Directors and only one full-time staff member.

My guests today include Old Spanish Days 2019 La Presidente Barbara Carroll, 2019 Spirit of Fiesta Sophia Cordero, and 2019 Jr. Spirit of Fiesta Paloma Valenzuela.

Sophia won the title of Spirit of Fiesta by competing among 10 other dancers. She has been participating in Old Spanish Days Fiesta since she was just 2 years old. She is an AP Honors student and does Varsity Cheer in high school. Paloma was chosen among 9 other performers to represent the community of Santa Barbara as the 2019 Jr. Spirit of Fiesta, and she spends time raising funds for the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation.

This year's Fiesta begins July 31 and runs through August 4.

Hollywood is the capital of American Cinema and as such, I was delighted to meet up with Harmony Smith, an actress and native Angelino to discuss her career starring in projects such as "Boy Meets World", "Melrose Place," and more. She's been in so many roles in film and TV but she's probably best known for playing Rita, the sexy, double-crossing bank manager, in the movie "What Planet Are You From?" starring Garry Shandling, Greg Kinnear, and Annette Bening.

You can find out more about Harmony and her filmography at imdb.com
