Disney News Bites – 

• Chef Mickey’s will switch BACK to buffet service once again beginning on March 1st, 2023! 
• Characters are returning to Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom!  Disney Princesses will return to this Magic Kingdom table service spot beginning on February 28th, 2023
• Roundup Rodeo BBQ, a new Table Service restaurant coming to Toy Story Land (also known as Andy’s backyard) in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be officially open in the Spring of 2023! 

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be here before you know it, and we are already looking forward to indulging in the beautiful and tasty eats at the food booths around the park. The 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs from January 13th through February 20th, 2023. There are a couple of new food booths this year, including a Figment-themed one! Disney revealed a few of the menu items that will be at each food booth, but please note that these are NOT the full menus for the Festival of the Arts food booths but for now we thought we would give a quick review to help get your planning started.

Seasons Greetings Happy Platers!

The holiday season is upon us! The only thing missing from the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort is the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Presented by AdventHealth but fear not because it soon will be giving us our seasonal fix. From Nov. 25 through Dec. 30, you can enjoy holidays around the world with this classic festival.   

With over 15 Holiday Kitchens, you’ll find flavors from across the globe highlighting ways the world celebrates the season. This year, you can discover a new Holiday Kitchen, Nochebuena Cocina with an IMPOSSIBLE Chorizo Tamale, as well as indulge in returning favorites, like Potato Latkes from L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen or Cheese Fondue in a Bread Bowl from Bavaria Holiday Kitchen. Your taste buds will be gifted with each bite!

Greetings Happy Platers!

The most wonderful time of year is almost upon us! On today’s show we look at the yummy yuletide delights you can enjoy at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Magic Kingdom Park this year!

This event is held on select nights from November 8 through December 2022, is the ultimate holiday gathering filled with beloved characters, attraction overlays, magical entertainment, like Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and even an appearance from Kris Kringle himself! This party is one of our favorites, which may or may not be because of the treats. 

The culinary teams have acted as Santa’s foodie helpers this year and created a sleigh worth of goodies to indulge in. It’s finally time to treat your elf – I mean self!

Greetings Happy Platers!

As we record this episode Thanksgiving is just 28 days away! Who doesn’t love the fall season and all the delicious foods and flavors that come along with it. This year to celebrate Thanksgiving, the culinary teams at Walt Disney World Resort are stepping up their fall foodie game because there is no shortage of items for you to indulge in from coast to coast.

Throughout the month of November, leading up to Thanksgiving Day on November 24, you’ll be able to gobble down classics like Thanksgiving Dinners across the resorts and of course, everything pumpkin spiced.  From the savory to the sweet, you can find it all.  If you’re not hungry yet, once you feast your eyes on these items, you will be saying “oh my gourd.”
