The Hardly Working Podcast

The Hardly Working Podcast is back and better than ever! Jeff gives thanks for being in a committed podcast relationship while Nick continues to spread social distancing cheer. They discuss the continuing quarantine and the prospects of society returning to normal. Then somehow they wind up on cartoons again.

Nick, and to a lesser extent Jeff, wish all the mothers out there Happy Mother's Day! They talk about the sci-fi name of Elon Musk's new baby, how billionaires get a pass on being weird, and why Amazon is called Amazon. Nick reads some statistics about home invasions and Jeff tells a harrowing story from college. In hindsight it's not a very mother-centric episode.

This week, Jeff and Nick take a moment to appreciate the show "The Powerpuff Girls" and how much it meant to them growing up. Jeff imagines looking back on cartoons when they're older and Nick explains why music videos will ruin your favorite band for you. Then they have a nice chat about politics that will surely be considered "Just and Reasonable" by all.

This week The Hardly Working Podcast takes a moment to appreciate man's best friend; dogs. Specifically how dumb they are, but also how they probably prepare you for fatherhood or something. Jeff tries Yoga for the first time over zoom and tries not to humiliate himself. Also, is Nick more comfortable with his masculinity than Jeff or does he just like to be pampered?

The Hardly Working Podcast gets deep this week as the guys ponder all of life's biggest questions. Are alien abductions a better deal than they get credit for? Are old movies bad even when they're good? Could every sandwich also be a pasta? Plus, Jeff has a life hack for grocery shopping during quarantine.

It's Zoom Easter and The Hardly Working Podcast is risen! While the guys agree it's a B-side holiday, Nick is full of Easter spirit as he and his wife spread cheer (and nothing else!) through their neighborhood. Jeff and his family also celebrate Zoom Passover, which is the first Passover since the original to take place during an actual plague. Then, Nick tells a story about a traffic signal gone wrong before the whole podcast goes off the rails.

Social Distancing is in full force as Jeff calls from an undisclosed location and Nick man's the couch solo. They discuss their quarantine experiences so far and why it's better to be the social distancer than the social distancee. Jeff is baffled by all the adults doing puzzles and Nick refuses to be quarantine-shamed. They guys also share the lessons they learned from Netflix's 'Tiger King'.

Jeff and Nick are back at a safe distance from each other on The Hardly Working Podcast! With nothing left to do but stay indoors, the guys take questions from the internet to answer about each other. They make celebrity comparisons, debate who's hotter, and find out which of them can win at arm wrestling before realizing they just massively breached social distancing.

Worried about the coronavirus epidemic? Well, this podcast probably won't help you. But Jeff and Nick are ready to discuss COVID-19 armed with minutes of extensive Facebook research. Please keep six feet away from podcast at all times.

The guys return from their impromptu week off! They celebrate their newfound friendship with the gals from Clearly Unqualified, Nick goes to Florida and takes more issue with public bathrooms, and Jeff gets political and tries to make Bernie Sanders his stepdad. Didn't you miss them while they were away?
