  • #37: An Introduction to Human Design with Margaret!

    It's finally here!

If you know me personally or stay up to date on my personal page (@_margarethobson_), you know that I talk about this wonderful system called Human Design all the time. I have been quietly studying this framework for years ever since I discovered it, because it just provided so much validation and language to who I know I truly am, as well as for my loved ones that it resonated with.

I have finally started offering readings because I want to bring this information to more people so that they can really integrate the valuable information and permission it offers you. Without being dramatic, I can say human design has changed my life, and it hope it has the same impact on you.

In this episode we go into HD's origin story, how it has impacted my life, as well as an explanation of each energy type, their strategy, and a bit about the energy centers. There is SO much that HD encompasses, so we cannot get to everything in one episode, but this is a fantastic place to start and gives you so much to work with off the jump. It might be help to know your energy type before diving into this episode, so head to mybodygraph.com to grab that info if you'd like!

To book a reading or if you have any questions about what a reading would entail, email me at [email protected] or feel free to shoot me a DM @_margarethobson_ on IG :)

  • #33: The Unseen Battles of Chronic Illness and Persevering Through Them with Brandy Lewis

So honored to have had Brandy Lewis on for such a deep, honest, and important conversation. There are no words for what she's been through and I have so much respect for how she's handled it and how she still comes through with the most bright and optimistic spirit. Brandy shares her story and we talk about the intense symptoms of chronic illness she has experienced for years, the questions that went unanswered, mistreatment by the medical system, what she's sacrificed, how her loved ones have supported her, and how she stays in the right headspace through it all. And best part? We are DEFINITELY going to be recording a part two because we just couldn't get all the things into one episode 😉 Hope you love it!

  • #31: How to Create and Offer an Experience You Wish You Had with Katie, Lauren, and Michelle of KLM Dance

Hello hello! I am thrilled to be sharing a conversation with you today with the founders of KLM Dance! KLM is an in studio commercial dance intensive that bridges the gap between studio training and the commercial dance world, offering young students a look inside a career in dance. These 3 friends decided to create and offer something they wish they had access to when they were training as kids and teens to be able to better navigate the professional world in LA and NY. We talk about their dance histories, what to expect when pursuing professional dance as a career and the right mindsets to have, how and why they came up with the idea of this program, how they've gone about marketing themselves and gaining momentum, growing a business with your friends, and what their goals are moving forward. This is a fantastic conversation (and my first interviewing multiple people at once!) for anyone interested in dance, a career in the arts, entrepreneurship, and just personal growth in general. I hope you love it!

  • #30: How Leading with Service Built a Successful Dessert Business with Sarah Buxbaum

Just a few short years ago I met Sarah Buxbaum while I was an assistant and teacher at a dance studio in Agoura Hills. She came to the studio often and we would always get to chatting at the front desk. Around this time, Sarah had just overcome a major challenge in business and career, and was starting a business of her own. This would become what is now Celebrate with Sarah, a successful desert table catering and lodging experience business.

In this episode, we chat about the very beginning of her business, the challenges and achievements along the way, and what is next. We talk about going all in on your idea and taking steps even when you don't have a complete plan, as well as learning to enlist help and not trying to take on everything alone so that your business can actually grow. We also talk about Sarah's experience with celiac disease and what it's been like to maintain and grow her business even when she's had really difficult flare ups.

If you are at all interested in being an entrepreneur and building something of your own from the ground up, you're going to want to listen to this episode!

  • #29: My Take On and Experience with the Concept of Manifestation

Happy 2020 lovelies! I am so excited to be back and bringing more realness to you on this show. I have some amazing guests lined up for this year and plans to expand this project even further. I'm pumped! Today I wanted to hop on to chat about the concept of manifesting. The idea of creating our lives intentionally has been around forever, right? Well, the sort of mystical and magical element of that and co-creating with the Universe, God, Source, whichever terms work for you, is kind of the gist of manifestation. There have been books written about this for years, but it has sort of gained mainstream pop culture attention in the last few years especially. I'm here to share with you my thoughts on that including our need to consider various levels of privilege and advantage and not bypass certain realities of being a human on Earth. I also share my experiences with intentional manifesting as well as elements of my process that have been working so far. I hope this is interesting and helpful for you and I'd love your thoughts! <3
